I love your reviews! Great job...Thanks
This is a great tool/addition to existing Mark Lemon/Pete Turner style mentalism. I have purchased a lot Mark and Pete’s stuff, so this is up my alley. Mark’s discussion on Advanced 3 reveals is great.
The price you pay for the ideas is a steal if you dont have them already. The shortcut is 100% not necessary but is a welcome addition. With most mentalism you are only limited by your imagination.
Honest and spot on review David! Thanks!
Couldn't agree more!
Curiously when David gave an example Yellow - think of a fruit, draw it - my fruit would have been lemon, not banana. Helpful review as always
others made that same point - my apologies to Mark
While waiting for some reviews to come out on this, I decided to come up with my own variation on this and my version has zero questions and can be done without looking at them.
The problem with stuff like this is by asking questions, it feels deductive. They don’t know how you got their colour, but they suspect the process somehow.
This isn’t always the case with tricks that uses this principle but sometimes it is.
Zero questions is way better.
yea, your questions sounding deductive COULD be a red flag, you need to work on presentation so it doesn't sound "that way"
@@magicorthodoxy oh for sure. But regardless, you are still asking questions repeatedly. Some people see through that is all.
yes, it's similar to the trick that had multiple numbers and you'd ask "is your number on this card?" Or the 21 card trick "do you see your card in THIS row?"
@kyleleon85 This sounds amazing! Will you be willing to share your performance of this? Thank you!
the point is to "not reveal the color"...reveal the object and wow is the end :)
Thanks for the review. I've seen some videos about this recently, and it definitely looks like an interesting trick. This would be more portable than the other Stroop test style effect I already have. But it sounds like there's a bit more to this effect than I was originally thinking. This isn't necessarily bad, but it does mean there's more for me to consider and factor in here, so I'm definitely glad you brought up those points. It's still quite new though, so I'm sure I'll be able to find more information, reviews, etc. in the coming days that will help me decide whether I should get this at some point or not. Thanks!
I know a lot of people will love this
A lot of questions 🍋
Not for me 🤷♂️
Thanks for the review David 👍👍
Fair enough!
Good and honest review. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this review 😊😊
My pleasure 😊
Hi David, excellent review! Thanks again for all you do! Your friend, David
Thanks again!
Thanks so much for the review, great job! Not sure if this will reveal the method, but will you be able to change the number of questions asked to the spectator, or will the number of the questions asked always have to be the same? Thank you so much once again!
Number of questions and "wording" has to be the same each time, you can mix up the order but then ... the math mixes up as well
@@magicorthodoxy Lovely answer, thank you so much for your reply and time!
Despite the blurb, memory work IS required, you may also need a crib. I want to use the IOS solver shortcut but it won’t fully download. Disappointing.
Sounds perfect for a EDC wallet...Thanks David.
You bet
hi David, thanks for the review!
just wanted to ask, when you said mark goes over “repeat performances”, do you mean the effect can be performed immediately again for the same spectator? e.g., they choose another color and the performer guesses it again?
sure, but I think it's better to do for someone else in the room
Thank you for the review, David. I guess one can use the shortcut to adapt it to other languages?
One other question - how could you associate yellow and banana for a trick by Marc Lemon 😂
Good question! 🤣🤣🤣
Which would you recommend first out of this and the Paul Carnazzo cards?
Depiction is my favorite - he also has a trick similar to Chroma called "Dreamweaver"
Is there any advantage to having two sides? Because if I understand the method correctly, you technically only need one side. I guess it diminishes the "deductive" questioning other people have said, but you could do it audibly if you're using only one side, can't you?
yes, but I think the two sides hides the method better
Springboard as in use it to fling a little food in the air? And people won't see right thru this one? Not for me but if it were, why not make your own?
I have another one from Mental Voyage
Math? Did you say math? How bad is it? Sounds kind of neat. Great review as usual
I think most people would say "easy math"
Top ten ACAAN PLEASE
Asi Wind's AACAAN is very good. You have to know Mnemonica and do some math but it looks very convincing.
Perfect review David, thankyou not for me!
I understand
A pity that the card doesn't seem to spell "Colour" correctly! Maybe an English version will be available :)
that's the UK way of spelling "color"
That's the King's English, not American English.
This seems like an awful purchase. Definitely gonna have to pass
did I make it sound awful ???
@@magicorthodoxythis seems like anyone with a clue can figure it out. And there’s “math” 🙁. Great review however. Always love your reviews and content ❤
the spectator doesn't know there is math
This is super easy, invisible and hits hard. Road tested to fantastic results. I use it as part of a one ahead routine, that way you don't have to force anything. Fantastic. Very highly recommend.
