If you special Archosaur but also run all the gas Pachinkomoney wants you to run like the new Fusion stuff, you probably have full combo and don't need the extra Linkuriboh in the GY since no Savage Dragon to attach Links to anyway.

My current build has 3-5 Nib safe lines while ending on Lars, Dolkka, Nat Beast, UCT and SP Little Knight(with a Lost World Token on your opponent's field). This ban isn't doing anything but make me change a few steps to get the same types of endboards we had before. The trick is to use misc protected Kaitoptera-Fusion and Xeno Meteorus to make Lars(to insulate you from Nib) then use your Scrap Raptors and over cards to go into the scrap Wyvern lines for the rest of the plays. The scrap wyvern and raptor then have the benefit of being protected from imperm and chain block protected because of Lost world being CL3 after their effects in some combos.

Admittedly it's far less consistent, but it's still a problem. Linkuriboh more than anything made going first better since the Snake Eyes player has protected followup if their opponent managed to break through some of their board. Regardless, Snake Eye is still the best deck by nature of having all the consistency it had prior in addition to other decks losing endboard options and gaining no consistency back.

It just happens to be in the best deck and gives it a lot more bang for their buck than other decks. Snake eyes is currently the ONLY reason why linkuriboh is banned and will probably be reversed when enough time passes lol. Komoney is solely to blame for making level 1 archetypes not only strong but prevalent across the years.
Colossus isn't a lingering effect. Throw an imperm or kaiju it and you're free from it's effect. Protos is however, so even if you do have an out to it on board you are forced to more or less just pass if you're mono attributed (though Protoss calling fire does smack pretty much every top tier deck atm) Also Drolling your opponent isn't nearly as bad as locking them out of SS's entirely.

It's already obvious Konami is making a mistake here but it seems like they really just want to keep Snake-eyes and they're doing so by unsealing powerful floodgates that can contend with it's playstyle. More annoyingly too, it seems like the Thunder decks that are being cooked up are running both Protoss and Colossus, god help us all if those decks are any good.

In snake-eyes you have 3 benefits to Linkuriboh, 1 it can set poplar to back row to give you free material 2 It can be used to do cyberse gimmick combos like getting into a free Heatcode and drawing 2, and then resummoning off of the destruction effect of Amblowhale 3 It can protect your appolousa from being beaten over by a kash or diabelle so while it didn't deserve the ban, it definitely was justified if they just didn't want to hit poplar so close to its release (stop pretending ash to 1 will help that please)
You forgot the fourth reason, it can revive itself from the GY as a quick effect. Since it tributes a level 1, you can use it with other Snake Eyes effects to completely avoid targeted negation.
I would like to see the deck without the field spell, no, I don't think it's inherently broken and it's not a 1 card combo like the planets, but taking it away eliminates an interaction you are forced to play into unless you get rid of it before committing to your play, it speeds up the turn 1, it's very easy to search and the atk boost is so unnecessary.
I've had decks outside of Snake-Eye just shit out an Apo and Linkuriboh so I couldn't just bait out 1 Apo negate and then walk over it. So I say, good riddance

Sad to see Linkuriboh gone, but I definitely agree on the other hits. These hits are more of a trade off. Getting rid of the excessive generic floodgates and the easily accessible omni-negate Synchros is a good trade off for cards like Protos and Colossus. Excited for Malicious and Engage being unlimited now. TOSS is making a comeback for sure.
Getting to play Baronne for one entire week-end before it got announced as banned was pretty neat. I summoned it 3 times total. That said it's good for the game, I know it well. Unlike Protos. I'm so upset about Protos that it makes this objectively great banlist feel kinda middling.
The fact that the Appliancers are the only reason the number of fair Link-1s is more than a fifth of all Link-1s really puts into perspective how not healthy they are

Linkuriboh prevents your opponent from outing Apollousa (ban her too), and also let's you dodge imperm and other targeted negation. Now you have a decent chance at actually landing an imperm on Snake Eye Ash. I don't think it had any place in the game anyway because of the game leaning more into level 1 starters lately compared to the previous era level 4 starters. It is a good snake-eyes hit, but it isn't enough.
Turn the token into Link Spider, special the normal monster you added to your hand as a part of your combo, and get a link 2 that somehow allows you to still pop off! /j
Linkuriboh actually kindad did a bit too much for snake eyes, it's a free send to get jet synchron for the borreland and then the link in gy for it AND then it's free sending fodder for like the oak since borreland only loses the atk boost and not the negate, it was a bit too much, there was no hit that allowed you to play snake eyes (even in a super reduced capacity) that didn't also ban linkuriboh

You can, but it's not really good, linkuriboh is battle phase protection, especially against apo, it also helps you dodge imperm because of it's second effect, so yeah, while you can, it's kinda terrible
