What if you have no downloads on a new computer, an you want to save your photo album to a thumb drive. That was not helpful

Just tried it on a student Chomebook. When you insert the drive, a message should pop up that you can click on. You can also go to the files and you should see the inserted drive and the download folder. Both on the left hand side.
