try ''scream and fly'' on facebook, there is some guy who have worked for second effort and let you know what's remain around, it's going to be very difficult ton complete an engine, I've a cowling but that's all.
I've asked the question to the guys racing in this period, they have told me less than this, something around 90mph+ is more realistic for the black P25 2 x200GT, I remember the Piranha carrera 2.4 EFI was checked at 82mph helicopter speedo
Hum, unless you're a good experimented diver, the position is close to CAPRAIA island in Mediteranean Sea, laying on the bottom of the sea for 32 years now, this P25 sank the year after this race, fitted with a pair of 2.4 efi Mercury. But if you're only after the hull shape, contact Chaudron powerboat in Malta, they'll be able to make you a similar boat.
I know this is an old post and all, but why did it sink? I have a p21 that was a demoboat in 86/88 w 2x200 Yamaha v6’s. And im curious to bringing this back to former glory 🕺🏽.. cheers
it's a Phantom 25, phantom boats from Uk (doesn't exist anymore, except old ones and copies, 25 is the overall lenght in feet, beam is in the 6feet or close to.
Phantom is an absolute classic racing hull design. Comes in all sizes from 16ft to around 30ft and is still one of the best 55 years later!
I’ve always been a mercury guy but holy crap those Johnsons are very impressive
Speedy 2/225 moteur jhonson 2 temps une sonorité diabolique la belle époque...seul devant bien joué les gars
The Best money can buy.
The boat was doing about 80, which was really hauling ass back then.
looks like 100
at about 1:32 , looks like not that far away from something bad happening..... superb driving anyway!
When boats were made by craftsman! ❤
Anybody have an idea as to where to find a set of these engines? I think I'll start my bucket list early...

@@TheRING21E I will thank you! Actually I just found their website last night. Did you used to run these engines?

It's not a problem to have two different type of motors? Or they 're tune to give same torque and power? Like exactly the same?
Power head are the same, just the cowlings are different, because one was lost in the previous race
@@TheRING21E okay so, same motors in facts? This boat is a beast btw
@@mororaph6046 Yes engines are the same, one is RH the other LH to be more accurate
@@TheRING21E okay, I though they use other engine rh/lh so I was confuse. Thanks for the explanation!
I have one of those engines 😂 3.3l v6 2 stroke 😂😂😂 My boat is half the size ❤❤❤❤❤
Half size, have power, but im sure not the same speed, nothing similar!!!
Specs of the boat? Anyone know what type?

Twin 300 hp 😮
Love the old 2 strokes. Modern outboards are boring by comparison!
No competition
Top speed?
The best this boas did light in fuel on a river was around 100mph with tall propellers, but in offshore configuration around 90+ mph
No not the 225.That moving
7000rpm nice noise.
Estos son motores. No los tiernos de los 4t
Hace exactamente 30 años, otra era.
@@TheRING21E yo tengo uno de esos y me canso de ganarle a los 4t
