Oddly enough if you know how to work with max footage it’s still on par with all the new 360 cams. Don’t have an opinion on the instacams other than them just being knock off gopros

How is the Cameleon? I almost pulled the trigger on one this year but opted for the mega death instead. As a new board I usually try to grab a second year edition if it gets good reviews.
I liked it, but felt that it was a little too soft and playful for me to ride full time. Just noticed the nose was a bit too soft for me

How is the Chameleon in powder? Definitely thinking of getting one this season.
Really fun playful board. Best ridden if you're not too heavy, I found a little bit of softness in the nose for my weight and power

It’s not a bad board at all. If you’re staying in the ground and riding more mellow features it’s really fun. Little too soft for me to ride full speed on, doesn’t love landing due to the soft nose and my weight

The Camel 2 is the best pow board I have ever owned, not sure why Bataleon would drop it from the line-up..
Chameleon is much softer than the C2 and less stiffness in the nose

Baldface lodge is a hit or miss. You have to book far in advance and there's no guarentee that it will be waist deep. Will there be pow, sure. But whether its a few inches vs 2-3 feet is a gamble.
The tour guides might also not have a lot of untouched open terrain for you. We went last year and they repeatedly sent us thru the most tree infested runs they offer. We were climbing thru trees 50% of the time and I mean climbing, trees were literally inches apart that a board could barely slide thru. We're not going back anytime soon.
This is with any trip you have to book in advance. And you gotta know like I said in my AK video that you might not get it. Baldface for me is the lodge, the history and the people that make it. If ya get snow that’s the bonus

Hey man, asking you here because I haven't got social media (yes, I am one of those). I am pretty happy with my insta 360, but I'd like to buy another action sports camera which allows to film in normal angles, not that wide, especially for mid/long range takes. I have no idea about cameras, so if you know, I'd appreciate some advice.

PS: I have got a gimbal but to me it's a bit a pain in the ass, but I don't know if these built-in stabilizers are only possible for ultra wide angles or not.
I mean the GoPro hero 13 seems like what you’re describing unless you wanted to shoot on something like an iPhone 16. Those would be my recommendations
