Do you own anything that isn’t trash?
Um.. Both of these are pretty nice
You know if you don't like the channel move on fixs that pretty much instantly he shows people who watch his channel that he's an average Joe wrenching that you don't need $100,000 worth of snap-on tools or cars that don't need to be fixed in the first place it encourages the average guy to get off your ass and out of your mommy basement and wrench on something
@@PoleBarnGarage f"$k that scumbag you do you keep teaching JD that any average person can get out and wrench on shit and you don't need a $100,000 worth of snap-on tools to do so
Do you have something better under your bridge, troll?
Just a wee bit jealous there Kiddo?
I played this at the bar I'm working at and damn near everyone demanded I kill the jukebox and turned up the tv... Everyone f**king loves you👌
Edit: Also I just got my PBG hat and I love it👍
Thanks! That's cool as hell
Thats awesome 👌
I'll take things that didn't happen for 500 please ....
@@BariLopesh 😂😂 samrtazz
@PoleBarnGarage random question but I was going through your old vids where did the eagle run off to
I'm so glad you used the decal I sent you! Looks great!
It's freaking great!
@@PoleBarnGarage it looks awesome on there it really does
Send him another for the spare tire cover!!
Yes indeedy! 😎
Between the boogie van and the LTD you've worked on like 45 ft of vehicle 😂

It's amazing how mint that LTD is. Like a time capsule.
Interior looks great, jess did a good job
Hell yeah she did
Thank ya :)
I just received my mystery merch package today, it included a broken spark plug, a used thermostat, two vials of mystery fluid, one really short spark plug wire and a bag of self tappers. Everything was in a used paint can and autographed. Thanks PBG!
😂😂😂😂😂
F'ing AWESOME!!!
Cool, but how’d they taste?
i couldn't think of a better way for pbg to do that. that's dope.
Keep them for life
I'm a fan of "Pole Barn Garage" emphasis on the quotes
Indeed
The chrome master cylinder cover on the Boogie van really brings the ride together. Solid move.
Pimp my ride!
Isn’t that pole for those special nights😅
@@PoleBarnGarageOn behalf of the 1970s... thank you. 🥹
Chrome will get you home.
They say it adds 10 horsepower, and increases class by 100 percent.
Your channel is what VGG used to be…fun to watch, and relatable. Please don’t change too much!
Dan
Never will amigo
I think VGG has become to commercial especially since he has his own show on Mtotrend now. Between that and focusing on giveaways that require merch purchases it's not as entertaining as it used to be. And to be honest how many times can you hear "Well I'll be dipped".@@LM-id1bb
@@LM-id1bb Easy to bolt on high dollar items if you don't have to pay for them, vgg is almost totally sponsored by big companies these days, plus he has his motor trend contract which I'm guessing means he has to use certain brands etc...sad hole he fell in...what I do find frustrating is the whole "I'm broke" Attitude some of the bigger channels have, telling you little money they have whilst simultaneously bringing home xyz and z projects
VGG has gone commercial and spends more time catering to his sponsors and less with his family even though he talks about how important family is. He needs to learn, money isn't everything. For reality on TH-cam,PBG and This N That Garage are top notch. I think Chad and Dalton would get along good.
@@rickgaine3476Derrick just dropped a video of both of his boys helping him pull the 300 6 out of the F-150 he revived a couple years ago.
There's something therapeutic about dinosaur movies. Watching a carcheologist skillfully reconstructing the skeletons of long extinct beings so we can experience how they once looked, moved and hunted. Fascinating. Just like 'Duralastic Park'.
Dinosaurs never really existed all faked, T Rex FFS those tiny arms😂😂😂😂😂
Wait till I tell you about the birds man
With the curtains jess added, you turned that from a boogie van into a shagging wagon. 😂
You are the first person I see working on a project for power tour with more than 10 days till power tour...mind blowing !!
A lot of people need the deadline for the pressure of losing the shop!
@@JasperTVlmao the classic TV classic car reality show on the Velocity channel. "If Richard doesn't install the air cleaner lid, or find proper hubcaps just in time, well lose the shop for sure!" 😂 Cuts to 70 commercials
The fender skirts add class to the car. I would definitely keep them!
Ya I like anything in a skirt
@@glenns5627😮😂
@@glenns5627Yes women especially 😏 lol
I like them too on this LTD Landau Ive seen them without skirts and a different quarter molding that surrounds the wheel well i love LTDs first car as a kid my dad bought was a 1970 LTD back in 1972
All you need now is an 8-track playing some KC and the Sunshine Band.
Fun House Pizza is a local treasure!
Hell YES it is!!! I ALWAYS get Fun House pizza when I go back home to KC to visit. Not only is it the best pizza when it's hot, it's the best breakfast in the world the next morning when it's cold!
That pizza looked really good loving the van content
To answer JDs question you can indeed sew your finger into a project if you aren’t paying full attention, I’ll spare you the details but it hurts for sure. Also the boogie van looks sweet with all of Jess’s new curtains and such and nice to see the ltd gettin some love
Omg that's like my worst fear...so I just acted like it wasn't possible so I felt brave 😂
@@jesswhomakesstuff hey I’ll say when I did it it was in my senior year home ech class and it got everyone’s attention really fast 10/10 do NOT recommend doing it I still have a deformation in my finger nail
My merch came! I cant wait to wear it to the car show next Sat!
Thanks dude!
Dalton wearing the sheet had me laughing so much. I'm going to try that when I change my bed sheet next year.
The good ole lid flip on the intake 😂😂 instantly makes anything race ready
10 hp's, guaranteed.
😂😂😂😂😂
Jessies Excitement on first inspection of the interior!
I've got so much love for that ol van
@@jesswhomakesstuff it’s a pretty badass rig.
JD.. if I ever get kidnapped, I have to practice LOL 🤣🤣
You need one of the "If This Van's Rockin' Dont Come Knockin' " bumper stickers lol
Have one lol
I remember seeing one on a van in the late 80's when i was a kid and asking my mom what it meant lol@@PoleBarnGarage
@@livewithnick And did you get an honest answer?....
@@colinl9018Yes, we are all waiting if he got the honest answer or not 👂👀
Oh my Fu@king GOD. Fun House pizza. I'm 57 years old, and as a small child I lived in Independence. I have lives in Dallas since 1977. My mom and dad use to take me to Fun House Pizza. To this day my 77 year old mother who still lives in Overland Park. says that is the best pizza. Man thank you for the way back trip. I really enjoy your videos. Hell I even have a 1973 Montego GT I put a 460 in in the 80's. Thanks again for sharing your stuff.
Want to sell the Montego? Pbgdalton@gmail.com
I love both the LTD and the Boogie Van. I'm a land yacht kind of guy. Mine are Cadillacs, so I'm a big fan of fender skirts.
I think the skirts do kinda make it look like a Cadillac, but like an off brand one lol
@@PoleBarnGarage not being a Ford guy, I have to concede that those hidden headlight cars have a definite presence.
You have to find a campground by the river
Chris Farley impression
"Cause you'll be living in a van down by the river"
This is the kind of restoration we wanna see can’t wait to see it shown at pebble beach
When I’m doubt, self tapper it on.
Looka them fancy new shop doors! Sad to see Dalton selling out like that. 😂😂
He's even got a lift now from benpack. I hope he doesn't forget us less sophisticated type.
You bring a new meaning to "cheap entertainment" with your membership, THANK YOU 👍👍👍😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
I actually enjoy watching this van restoration. Its nice to see you taking time to make it look better. That effort pays off every time you drive it too.
175K Subscribers man !!!!!! Wooo hooo !!! BOOM !!! ☺️👍🏻
Nothing like riding in the plush ride of a low mileage LTD!
The boogie van however makes me feel like I need a penicillin shot.
The only thing that's scary in that van is the flailing disco ball 😂 be brave, Buff!
@@jesswhomakesstuff it’s pretty classy now for sure.. just beware the disco ball
I love that ole LTD😊
Dang that is a Pretty Ford ❤❤❤
K ... so I bought some merch. Have a great February! Diana
Thanks Diana!
The T is so soft and great - good quality! Quick delivery! I bought one way too large but hopefully after I wash it, it will shrink down a bit. @@PoleBarnGarage
Those LED headlights are the way to go , love that old tank
A chrome master cylinder AND new curtains...see, you did make great choices in life my friend! 👍😎👍
All other things aside, I want some of that pizza : 0 Perhaps a future merch item : )
The van background music gets me every time. Love your videos.
Huh, I actually need a set of those lights. Good to know
Im glad youre taking good care of the ltd and boogie van. They need to be taken care of properly. Nice job.
God help you on figuring out the accessories wiring on that van, i was a ase tech at a gm dealership back in the early 90s when conversion vans were at their heyday, and the brand new ones we got in were plagued with wiring problems. We contacted the conversion company to get wiring diagrams and component layout, apparently their wiring was a "suggestion" and the assembly line builders did the wiring at their discretion, meaning the conversion company didnt care how they were wired, as long as everything worked, so each van was wired differently.
"It says to check out the pins before installing... so let's just install them and see what happens." That was funny :) Still watching the video, am at minute 5 so far and enjoying a lot, as usual!
Bro, the way Jes and JD get into your projects adds an entirely different element to your video. Keep it up.
Jessie, you did an amazing job sewing the curtains! And I can say from experience, yes, you can sew your finger, but please don’t try it. It hurts like nothing else!!!! Ouchie!!!!

Very satisfying cleanup and reupholster on the shaggin wagon :)

Clever pun my man!
Prepping for PowerTour early. Now That’s The Way To Do It! 👍🏽🏁
Now that was fun to watch! Thanks for bringing us along.
I don't know why I initially passed on watching this when it first dropped... I Lie... On some other channel a video was put up just to have something up and it really was a biy of a snore bore. So I kind of thought that this upload might also be just a, "PBG needs to put up content or (?)"
Well I was pleasantly dumb founded, of course the crew led by Dal'un ALWAYS entertains.
That LTD is precious. I understand the sad reality of parts on such a vintage car snapping in frozen temps, but the tenacity and logic of a 'Pole Barn' mechanic pulls through, good job on that switch. Now if only I could get Dal'un to stop by and get my blend door actuators R 'n R'd on my 2013 Cry'shitler 200.
I can't help but expect the table stanchion/pole has rusted to the floor base, but heck now you can advertise owning a 'Pole Van Motel' and at least you're not going to be rolling out of bed without alot of effort, best wishes for using the laundry list of explicatives each time you come up against that cold metal pole with bare skin.
looking good
That boogie van is big pimpin now, love it!
It's Really Cool to see that you appreciate a vehicle that is a Survivor, I just saw a video about two guys who took a 1953 Ford that was Amazing and very original it ran so good and they Totally EFFFFED IT UP.
The headlight upgrade was awesome! Thanks for showing that in the video! Based on your results, I am going to add them to my '66 Belvedere and '72 Coronet.
The JD commentary in this video is great!
So does the porn music play everytime you drive the van?
I'm my head
Respect for your mechanical patience when working on these old gems.
Good use for that water tank BEER for the power tour this year.😎👍
The best part of Friday is the new PBG video
Got my shirt and decals the other day ! Rock on !
That old ltd is sure nice! Also that pizza looks amazing!
That van has SWAG oozing out of it !!! -even more than the air horn's new tar sealant. I love it. Oh, and nice work on the pillow and curtains Jess !! My compliments to the seamstress.
Thanks! Not too shabby for a newby eh?
The fact that it still has the skirts is awesome. Keep them!
the Van™ is looking comfy now
It always takes me a minute longer to click on the videos with that gold ltd in it. I had one just like it on bags, it was the first car I bagged myself and the first car I fixed with my son. Sadly I had to let it go to pay the mortgage. Always love the videos!
That was kind of a wild ride back from dinner with the broken headlight switch. Why are the nice cars always the most dangerous? 😂
I do like the crazy van anticks they are fun and there is something about goofy vans. also got me a holey goat T and a good old PBG sticker for the tool box
Looking forward to my Father, Son and Holey Goat tee. Thanks for the awesome content PBG & family!
Thanks!
I used to work on old vans I had a aunt she was a total hippy man... People in Alaska used to have those things man they were so decked out to the max it was just like crazy. I really enjoy people fixing those up I love to watch to see what they got going on you showed that thing some love.
Another great video! A couple of awesome vehicles (I LOVE the LTD) and frankly, wouldn't kick the van out of the driveway either... the interior is incredible, great job!! I really enjoy watching all three of you working together.
Awesome episode, as always! I'm still shocked how nice the LTD is. I know it's not a highly sought after or collector car but since it's so nice, and it seems you like it a lot, hopefully you have indoor storage for it so it stays nice for decades to come.
Boogie Fever it’s going around, Yeah Boogie Fever is such a sweet sound.
Definitely need a peace sign and some flowers on the spare tire cover. Like real hip man!
We Agree, Funhouse has the best pizza. They have a delivery outlet in Blue Springs the we use, but we have to supply our own cold beer.
Props to Jess for the new skills!!! Great Video, Thank you for sharing.
Thanks! Funny what you can learn from TH-cam lol
When the headlight doors opened with new bulbs I heard aweeeee
Dalton, it was nice to meet you today in Norwalk! Its nice to get pictures of your Gto along with the group photo with yourself ,Kevin, Mook, Angus and myself. Keep the TH-cam videos coming!
My Grandma had the same car in dark blue with the blue interior many years ago when i was a teenager and I used to drive it when Istayed with her during the summer. Good memories from this video thanks!
I definitely like the wheel skirts
I love 💕 that the Pole Barn Garage Crew love the cool things of the 70's like Boogie Vans and Luxury Lead Sleds. Keep Rocking, especially when the Boogie is a rocking! Great job 👍. Anyway, thanks for the video 📸.
My next favorite family on the tubes !!😂
Really, it's a great job with this plastic hammer, the piece of wood, and a few jokes, knowing that the Ford Ltd is still in excellent condition. You have all the support and love. Greetings from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Jess, good job on the curtains they look sharp!
Thank ya! :)
Hope to see you on the power tour! That LTD is nice!
In 78 I was 11. Out of school for weeks because of the blizzard. Good times.
Love the skirts . It's an original beauty.
Nice score on both of them. But I love the 78 Missouri plates. It's all fitting for the Boogie Van. And by the way I never knew how easy it was to find 78 plates. I found a set in a Auntiqe store for my Camaro in Paris Mo. Keep it up Power Tour with that will be fun.
I get a lot of new content notifications from TH-cam, but get excited to see when you post something brother! Can't wait to see the content we'll see when you do Power Tour in this thing! Great job guys! 👍
Thanks!
Jess gonna be dangerous with that sowing machine! She’s gonna be making custom seat covers I see in the future. Seems like she’s taking to it, and doing pretty good to!
I'd love to eventually try a project like seat covers...you're totally right!
@@jesswhomakesstuff I think you can do it, if you got a decent old cover, you can unsow it to see how it was put together and a pattern. Little tip for doing that it’ll be a little loose,, so you may try and sinch it up a little or add a layer of foam to tighten them up.
@@jesswhomakesstuff oooooo idea. Start with slip on seat covers we can buy as PBG merch. I'd rock the flirking shnit outta one for my f150.
I'd drop $100 for one. Well 100 communist Canadian dollars so about 80 bucks in the land that measures in units of a body part. 😊
I'm hoping i can have one of mine ready for 2025's power tour. Gotta love building on a budget!
Im heading east to live with my sister and brother in law up in Marion county Arkansas this spring and that puts me a lot closer to possibly of getting on a Power Tour in my 1st gen SR5 '03 Tundra. With its bullet proof iForce 2UZ 4.7L.
It has all its clear coat on the top surface burnt off from the baking in NM and AZ summers these past 20 years, so she's not pretty but a real get up and go getter for sure.
My 'Baked Arizona' ... I hope you get to ride and drive your (?) in 2025. I think the tour would be the culmination of a life time of being infatuated with the ICE and their place in our lives that gave us excitement, heartbreak and often our first passionate love affair.
@claztube I'll have to road trip from Colorado just to make it to the tour, and I'll be doing it in a 1968 cadillac hearse.
weirdly some of the neatest work i've seen done on this channel. i know it's things you actually care about so you put the extra care in, but it's nice to see something come out and go back in, in the same condition or better than it was originially.
personally i would've made that table slightly bigger so you can actually have 2 people eating on it but idk where i would put it when the futon folds out. so maybe size compromise and you eat on your lap is ok.
removable cupholders also double as ashtrays you can empty so that's nice too. try not to set fire to the shag carpeting.
Hope to c u on the tour. Will b truck bed camping my self.
Dalton, you know what you need to make that van complete?
A foot gas pedal !! Alot of us rolled with those in the 70s and 80s
Good call
Do me a favor, if you get one could you give me a shout out? Thanks brother. Semper Fi
Nice work! Glad to see you managed to preserve the looks on the LTD interior, getting any interior parts in even decent condition is a pipe dream these days. I'm lovin' the Boogie Van! Jesse is quite the seamstress 🪡
That Van Is Looking Sweet man I love the creativity
