Oh, the irony of Eva being mad at Victor for saving her life against her will with his magic powers right after admitting Jasper is mad at her for doing literally the same thing to him. I very much appreciate B.Dave not backing down an inch on his characters values, no matter how awkward the tension in the room was. You guys gave us a beautiful textbook interplay of Ventrues "I know what's better for you even if you don't", Brujas " FRIIIIDAAAAM!!!", runaway Tremeres "I've been a victim of a pyramid scheme and I'm traumatised for life" and Nos' "Do whatever you want, just leave me the eff alone".

I was noticing the same thing. She used Movement of the Mind to do basically the same kind of thing that Victor used dominate. What’s funny is in Tremere normally have dominate too.
Jasper mouthing "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" to Eva when he realized he was leaving her alone with Victor was the purest thing ever I LOVE THIS BOY SO MUCH.
He consistently turns his whole body towards her giving her his full attention and says "sorry, sorry, sorry" since day one! XD it was honestly one of the behaviours that struck me as submissive my first watch through... Which Alex has confirmed in a live stream... my guess was actually correct. That never happens lmao.
But yeah, he sure does do it a lot.

@@matthewosborne8384 I think he did that to hide his laughter. But it was appropriate. The best reaction is the way Eva blinks when she hears it. Its hard to fake micro expressions like that. Either she acted extremely well or she was really baffled.

I came to absolutely LOVE Victor
I think the game of chess from Victor’s perspective is something like this:
The King is Victor, who rules the board and gives commands but is himself not as combat ready as some of the other pieces
The Queen is Nelli, who Victor cares about a lot but is very versatile, with social skills, blood magic and combat abilities
The Rooks are Mark and Campbell, who work straightforwardly as physical units but staying on the edges of the board near the King/inside the club w/ Victor (Campbell specifically is the Rook that Castles with the King)
The Bishops are Eva and Jasper, who are used for tactical moves and strikes on targets as well as utility
One of the Knights is Annabelle, who is used by Victor to make leaps and try and gain momentum, while also helping move the pawns (which are the other allied Kindred and smaller groups that)
*Note: I am not very good at Chess, but this is how I see the metaphor

May I just take a moment to once again congratulate Jason Carl on his MAGNIFICENT Storytelling. Seriously, he has me hooked on his every word in each episode. The way he creates atmosphere & inhabits his NPC's is a constant revelation. Apologies for gushing so much, but I really felt it needing repeating! :)
He’s fantastic.
He's my favorite VtM Storyteller. I know he's a super busy guy, but wish he could be in even more shows. :D

Annabelle went toooo hard to try and make Jasper the asshole with the Chloe thing. A: Why did you abandon her?!

J: Because I didn’t want her to go through the Nos change, Eva just didn’t want to.
A: Why did you let her out of your sight!?
J: Because she literally asked me to give her space, so I respected her choice/boundary.
A: Yeah but you didn’t take responsibility!
J: … For what? For opting to not break the Masquerade and give her all this crazy info that I’m not human anymore?
For someone who is screaming about boundaries, respect for choices, respect for privacy, and so on - she R E A L L Y throws all of that out the window when it comes to something she would have done differently.

Annabelle won't even take responsibillity that she did everything she could to PUSH Jasper into contacting Chloe. She creates problems then blames the fall out on those she created the problem for.
this is why i cant stand her as the "leader" of the rebelion lol shes has all of her" values" go right out the window when its what she wants... just look at her two lovers.... screaming and crying about how she was turned and not human any more... and then is moving to get them both turned at this point... cuz she " loves" them psshh
TBA says part of why I like Annabelle as a character. Most of the other characters are old enough to be aware of their own flaws. Annabelle has very high standards and morals but a huge blind spot where her own actions are concerned. She is always convinced that she is doing the right thing even when she's not.
@@Stefanos07520 I don’t think this so much a vamp-flaw as it is just a flaw of character over all- mortal or kindred. Holding others to a high standard but not yourself isn’t holding a standard - it’s being a hypocrite. That being said; I think you’re right. I think Annabelle tries, and she wants to do well, to the point of being blinded by her own moralism. Regardless I love this show and everyone in it.
Eva seems really irritated as of late. I get the feeling she wants to annihilate everyone around her. Great acting!

@@pepethefrog6809 They play-off each other really well. It's really pushing me to watch Long Beach by Night, as both, Josephine McAdam and B. Dave Walters (as a storyteller) are there.
What's also remarkable in that scene is Eva's subtle but very noticeable jab at Jasper. "It's the last one I have [...] I gave one to Jasper, but he gave it away". Eva was VERY pissed when Jasper just took her precious and very difficult to make potion that was a personal gift of love from her to keep HIM safe and wasted it on the bratty youngling. Giving her last potion to Annabelle was her way of saying: "Well if you don't value my gifts, I can just give them directly to the bratty younglings." ;-)

Also watching Jason Carl losing it made me laugh so much harder. I love it when people break character because something genuinely funny happened and they need to laugh.
I sympathise very much with Victor. At the end of the day, he is the Baron and in charge of things, and being in charge often means making the tough choices and trying to do the best in a very messy situation. You cannot make everyone happy, but he cares about the Coterie and is willing to make them angry at him if that means saving them. That does not mean he is always right or that the others do not have a right to criticise him or his actions, but you have to understand his position. It´s what Ventrue do - they take command, they take the heat. Kudos to B. D. Walters for such a nuanced portrayal of the Clan of Kings. :)
1:00:00 so much righteous judgement for what seems like obviously NOT even close to a bad choice for a Baron leader. Seriously, in a way Baby bell needs to step up and be a leader if she wants to complain about every leadership decision Victor and Nellie do or stop with the complaints every time......hell even 3/4 the time Jasper does any individual choice he gets that holier than thou speech...maybe she shouldn't have made her boyfriend have no free will as a ghoul and sexing up a that slave to her will ghoul if free will and not using people as pawns is the level of a purity test.

I agree completely with the fact that Victor is an awesome and often justifiably controlling character. B D. Walters is likewise a fantastic player. But so is everyone else. It's as much in character that Eva wants to fry his brains for Victors logical use of his "jedi mindtrick(tm)" as it is for Annabelle to be a complete tool with her double standards in regards to hers vs. others' moral views ^^
It baffles my mind equally to see any of the players (or to a slightly lesser extend, characters,) being criticized tbh.
Victor is an example of the Ventrue that Bertram Tung was talking about. One that gets a bad rep but can take the heat and step up.
Victor represents what the Camarilla should be if they want to keep up with XXI century. Willing to accept Thin-Bloods as any other clan, skipping useless bullshit like having that "blood tax" or other easy-to-procure things, focus on the Inquisition 2.0 and most importantly, instead shut off to technology, have instead guys like N1pt1ck(Niptick) work for him and stablish a solid cyber security that the Nosferatu guys is happy to provide as long he gets him all the cool new PC toys in market and a sweet budget.

That's the tough job as a leader is to lead and move and inspire people. Victor is quality by being open and being unapologetic.
To be fair, Nellie put him on blast for that earlier as well... she got to be Queen in his chess game though.

I love how the irony of the Annabelle/Victor situation naturally arises. Annabelle, telling Victor it is unacceptable for him to force his will onto people (which, from the contexts of her being alive the implications of what a less scrupulous person could do with that power, it is), despite the fact that anybody who goes into battle with Victor reaps the benefits of his ability to do that to avoid conflict and get mortals out of harm's way. Annabelle, chiding Victor for trying to control situations too much (which is one of the downfalls of the Camarilla and something Victor should be careful of), despite the fact that Victor is INCREDIBLY permissive, allowing people in his coterie to keep secrets from him and even let Annabelle decide how to proceed with a situation that involved HIS OWN SON, ending with him being ghouled to Annabelle.
I just love the irony of how all of Annabelle's complaints are all valid criticisms of Victor WERE HE A LESSER MAN. But he's not, he's always right, he allows everyone to make bad choices unless he's present for a bad choice that will absolutely be unfixable and he STOPS IT. And that's why he's Vamp Dad

If you mean the hand in the labyrinth (first seen last episode) that trick is old school (ie first edition) Tremere work. I was very impressed to see it, since I don't think it's been re-published in some time... (I am still watching THIS episode so 'The Hand' reference may not be what I think it is...)

I don't know how Victor has managed to not get killed with his coterie disrespecting him in front of company every chance they get.
A good storyteller that doesn't kill off victor just for Jaspers individualism or Annabelles.....whatever the heck her self righteous rants in front of others is called. It's a balance to keeps things real with other Barons pushing her to look more unified when seen by others but not punishing one player for other players choices.

@@HenriqueErzinger Well, they ARE the players, the center on which this story pivots. Is there really a point to slapping them around just because you can, as a Storyteller/GM?
There's a part of me which gets that the World of Darkness isn't fair, isn't meant for happy endings, and is ostensibly just waiting for someone to take a step out of line before getting beaten down or eliminated for the gall of doing so. But there's a larger part of me which tries to remember: We're all at the table to have fun.
Killing off player characters (unless you meant the actual players, and if so that's something TOTALLY not cool) just because you can do so isn't something to do lightly or often. Now, beating them up and reminding them they're *really* not the biggest fish in the lake? That's another story...
... then again, I haven't run any games of any kind in years. Probably not about to anytime soon, either. But some of the best games I had the pleasure to sit i on tended to not kill off PCs until they literally were asking for it. (Or was Call of Cthulu.)
@@kereminde i think the complaint about plot armour here comes from the fact that LABN isn't a normal game. this game specifically is story first, players second. so i think it's okay to criticize the plot of it because of that. of course giving your PCs some plot armour as a ST is a good idea, but in this case i think it is a point of legitimate criticism.
Once again, Mr. Walters plays the true Ventrue. Looking out for everyone, even when they don't look out for themselves.

@@SayGen Especially since he was absolutely right to do so. They didn't stand a chance against Strauss. Eva has a right to be angry, but Annabelle doesn't even understand the stakes, and either way, knowing what Victor knew, he had both a moral and practical obligation to use any method at his disposal to keep everyone alive. A battlefield, or potential battlefield, isn't a place where everyone should be allowed to make decisions for themselves. That's counterproductive, and an invitation to uncontrollable chaos and death. Victor took the initiative in the moment because he was the one looking after everyone, and the bigger picture. (Seeing the potential for disaster fast approaching.) That is leadership.
I love Victor. He's probably my favorite character besides Eva. He does have his faults, and even some failings of morality. But in the end, he's an excellent leader, and overall a very moral and fair one. He knows what he is, and he's willing to leverage what he can to ensure the best outcome for all. Yes, he likes the recognition and he's incredibly vain about that. But his actual decisions are always based on making sure everyone has what they need, and keeping the greater good in mind.
Annabelle's understanding of right and wrong is soooo incredibly binary, with no room for nuance or compromise. Ironically it's the fact that she thinks she understands right and wrong that keeps her from actually understanding it. She reduces every action but her own to its simplest state. An FBI agent becomes a "Trained killer", holding a friend back (by the means available to him) from getting herself and others killed becomes "A violation of consent", Victor keeping his sons out of his life and lying to them to protect them from the realities of his world becomes "A controlling and manipulative father" in her eyes.
But to make matters worse, she's probably the least moral of the bunch, herself. That's what makes her judgements of others even more maddening. She doesn't scrutinize her own decisions or the deep layer of selfishness behind them. To her, anything she wants is okay because it makes her feel good, damn the consequences and potential harm towards those she thinks she cares about. She just keeps holding onto this idea that everyone is more fallible than her, but doesn't realize that they tend to bend principles and make decisions in an attempt to actually help others, while she bends principles and makes decisions that could potentially harm others but make her feel good, personally. Annabelle has a savior complex, and a heavily overinflated view of herself as a moral leader. But in reality she's just a selfish person with a busted moral compass that only points where she wants it to point.
(For the record, I like Annabelle as a character. There are just a lot of moments where she drives me insane. Laughably long youtube comment insane. And honestly, that's appropriate, because Annabelle is the living embodiment of a youtube comment.)
I love how Jasper and Eva glare sadly at each other because they are sitting on oposites sides of the table.

She’s a vampire. She’s hypocritical and refuses to pause for self reflection because she is a literal monster. The horror of Annabelle is that she is so convinced that she is justified regardless of what she is doing. She acts as an agent of chaos and throws everyone around her into jeopardy while moralizing at others for not doing whatever she wants them to. She lies to people and uses her presence powers to make them give her blood, but clutches her pearls when Victor uses dominate. Eventually the facade will decay and what will be left is a lick who sees herself as the sole arbiter of what is just. That’s scary to think about, which is why the character is brilliant for a horror setting.

It kills me that so many people hate on Erika Ishii because she is playing this character in such a clever way that really highlights the scariest parts of her clan.
@@elijahculper5522 I for one don't hate her portrayal. I do feel that she she is playing herself at times. At one point or another most people who've played tabletop games have been guilty of doing so.

Well, Kyoko has all the social graces of a bull elephant on steroids. Two episodes ago: let's talk about things in front of the bad guy. In this episode let's ask the two most private people in front of everyone if they got their funk on. Read the room Kyoko, read the room!
I'm fairly sure that's an intentional character flaw in the design of Kyoko ^^ It sure made for a hilarious scene or two. I particularly enjoyed the irony of a 1½ year old Annabelle explaining Kindred politics to the 3 years old Kyoko xD

she has all the social graces of a sheltered only child, which I can relate to.
To be fair, during the first incident when she mentioned Carver, she had not witnessed the prior conversation between Annabelle and Aurora, so she did not know that Aurora was looking for Carver and/or that she was supposed to pretend they didn't know anything about him. Though on the other hand, if she wasn't the gibbering overexited millenial that she is (which certainly is intentionally presented as a character flaw of hers), she could have been cautious enough to talk as little as possible in the presence of the powerful Camarilla hitwoman on principle.

The more troubling part for me is Kyoko. In terms of raw power she is more dangerous than every official person in the coterie, more naive/ inexperienced than Mark and little to no impulse control.

Every character in this is terrifying in their own way and could be the villain of a decent pulpy horror novel. But Kyoko definitely poses a massive threat to anyone working with her. If it wasn’t for Hester looming around, I’d argue that it would be a good idea for Nelli to kill her before she can accidentally incinerate the coterie.
@@elijahculper5522 I agree everyone could be a decent villain but I wouldn't call Eva terrifying. I view her through the same lense I view Jason Vorhees. Are you fucking by Crystal Lake? No, then you have little to worry about.

I wouldn’t want to cross Eva either though. Imagine someone setting their sights on you who can fly, use telekinesis, throw around lightning bolts, become invisible, and always know where you are. She’s a person-shaped weapon of mass destruction. And she’s already demonstrated that she isn’t capable of forcing people out of her mind. Victor isn’t the first person to bend Eva to his will and I doubt he’ll be the last. Powers like dominate and blood bonding are abundant in Masquerade. And Eva is smart and versatile enough to be a much more effective tool for whoever controls her than Kyoko.
She’s also an addict, which opens up its own can of worms. In order to get blood with opiates, she’s got to be preying on some really vulnerable people. And without the power to erase herself from their memories, she’s taking these damaged people and subjecting them to even more trauma. Also, when there is less blood to dilute drugs like heroin, the chances of an OD are a lot more likely. Eva probably leaves a string of dead heroin addicts in her wake.
I’d read a story about an addict who thinks he’s going crazy because he thinks the wave of overdoses in his community is caused by a mysterious woman in white who can fly. He has to take another hit to keep from getting sick, but if he does, she might come after him, and there is no way he could fight back against someone so powerful. That could be pretty darn scary.
@@elijahculper5522 If that situation were to occur it would be scary. However I do disagree with Eva being vulnerable to mental manipulation. Eva does have Unswayable Mind (fortitude) but she was beat out by Victor's roll. Victor is heavily invested in Dominate. Mass Manipulation is a 5 dot ability afterall. She had atleast 6 dice (she lost 6 to Victor's 7) to defend against Dominate and Presence abilities.

It's something to behold in every episode - I zoom in and watch Eva and Jasper, and they hold character and react to everything. Josephine McAdams is absolutely outstanding.
One of the things that I both loved and hated about watching this episode was how Annabelle threw a fit about Consent yet she and Kyoko got into a fight and charged a 20K bill to Victor and didn't ask him. Then she sells out an Anarch to the Camarilla, again without Consent from anyone, because...? Lots of bullshit here from a character who is the most two-faced of any of them. It was definitely dramatic, but I wish Victor had thrown that in her face. She loves to tell everyone how they're at fault but never herself.

I love that this episode covers what Victor did so...equally? Like, I can totally understand Eva and Jasper being pissed off. They're both such self-reliant, independent characters and it makes sense that they would feel violated by this. I also appreciate Victor owning up to what he did, explaining it and standing by it. He's always been the 'bigger picture' guy and he makes a compelling argument. I like that maybe there really wasn't a 'good' or 'bad' side to the argument - the world is shades of grey.
I get why Annabelle feels so justified in claiming the moral high ground - she seems like the type of character that deep down, desperately needs to believe that she's on the morally correct side. No self-reflection on her actions, no willingness to admit that maybe she's not perfect. And that's exactly the kind of character who would be hypocritical, because she believes so strongly that what she is doing it RIGHT. The only thing I'm finding frustrating from a story/narrative perspective is that, so far, that hasn't had any consequence. She should have had to fight hard to regain the Valkyrie's trust after she didn't kill that vamp like she promised. She probably should have lost either Eleanor or Mark after continuing to see them despite her promises. I know it's not a fully scripted show, it's just that it's so amazing most of the time that those little slips stand out as unsatisfying, unrealistic.

@@HerrMatom I would like Annabelle as a character much more if she wasn't so elevate by the story. If she was foiled by other characters and the circumstances. Someone to point out that she's self-righteous, irresponsible, naive and hypocritical. Even a straight-up traitor, when she decided to deal with Aurora to give Carver over in exchange for information about Jasper (which is betraying Jasper's trust as well).
I don't mind that she is like that, that's an interesting character. But I really mind that the story makes it seem like she's such a great person and everyone likes her.
You can't have them all the time, but I do love these bottle episodes with the all the banter and self/cross-examination. It's like, sometimes you're running around in the moment, putting out fires -- or starting them -- but then at some point you have to stop and try to make sense of it all, digest the experiences and process the progress. It's in these times that the characters have a chance to notice what they are turning into, and whether that's somewhere they really want to go after all.

Victor is perfectly capable of creating messes, and then roping others into the clean-up. There is plenty of bad decisions and strange (dare I say, out of game) dependency going around.
You mean the same Victor Temple who until very recently kept *mind wiping his son and bold facedly antagonizing an off his rocker Camarilla Prince with, for example, challenging the Princehood with his own,* like, that Victor Temple with the giant ventrue flag above his public facing front door who fancies live streaming while being a Kindred, have I gotten that right.
Then there's Jasper, who killed said Prince's old Sheriff. Then there's Nelli, who is infrequent with the fuck ups but whose fuck ups hit especially hard, like allowing herself a one on one with the Seneschal who proceeded to manifest a definite in via Toreador means. She also got Fiona kidnapped by not simply eating Greg when she had the opportunity.
Point is, all of the characters fuck up constantly, and they all have made their own situations worse. That's what this campaign, and the game at large, is all about.
Another amazing episode. I have a question since it seems that Eva is living with Jasper. When is she gonna to show up wearing one of his hoodies? Isnt that something boyfriends and girlfriends do? I mean at the very least I haven't heard of him having access to a washing machine or sudville's skipper?
Or at the very least he should get her a red or white one for herself as a apology for whatever dumb thing he did that day.

Annabelle will be the undoing of the cotterie. She is so self-righteous and entitled while she herself tends to put aside the things she has done, while enjoying the protection of her more powerful vamily members. A delusional monster in the making, when reality hits, its gonna be spectacular.

Yes, this! Granted her coterie is probably not the best teachers into the world of darkness. They tend to ignore important things that they should probably be teaching Annabelle. However, her naivety actually prevents her from learning anything. Carver was right in everything he said, but Annabelle thinks vamps are all going to gather around and sing kumbaya instead of turning on each other if the chips are down. The beast's first desire is survival. Annabelle has yet to face that reality of Kindrid life.
Further, she still doesn't grasp the fact that her actions have consequences. I so wanted Marcus to die to hit this point home to her. She was acting reckless and put his life in danger. It would have been a sharp smack in the noggin that this life is dangerous, and would have upped the tension in the group. I get that she is trying to cling on to her humanity, and is far less jaded than much older monsters, but technically speaking she should probably already be dead.
Her character is essentially spoiled. She has never felt the beast trying to eat it's way out of her. She has Daddy Victor bring her a buffet of willing people to feed on. She is willing to make backroom deals of her own, but condemns others for how they act.
The lessons from when the Valkyrie got all but wiped out, along with all the kindred who have died for her "Cause", don't seem to have been learned. She seems to just gloss over those events, because the "Cause" seems to matter more to her.

Annabelle also entirely focuses on the wrong set of information. Asking Jasper if he abandoned his ex-girlfriend, instead of stating oh by the way the person that was on the radio telling the world about us, that was your ex and she is a little pissed at you.

That or someone needs to see how Victor lets this keep happening in public and decide he's too weak to matter. I think, though, this is one reason Strauss and co aren't worried: as far as they're concerned Victor is demonstrably weak.

So Eva is angry with baron T. for deciding for her (and Jasper who whould protect her at the cost of his life even if her decision is unreasonable) what to do, but perfectly fine with deciding herself what Jasper should do when she didn't allow him to lead the gargoyle away from their home and used movement of the mind on him? She was putting everyone in that room in danger because she didn't want to give out some magic secrets to Strauss, while another Tremere working with him was already on the other side of the mirror and clearly got access to those secrets.

Part of me thinks they are setting us up for Ib to embrace Greg. After a hundred years as a ghoul, she knows what a painful existence it is. It wouldn’t surprise me if she grew close to Greg and turned him to free him from that.
Greg would be a very dangerous asset to the Camarilla as well with his knowledge of the two anarch barons.
I dont think ib would turn Greg with out his consent so it would either be a do or die moment with him mortally injured or she is order to under threat. Greg just doesnt seem ready to be a vampire.

Plot thickens in the case of jasper and Eva personally I don't think whatever they do will end well Annabelle is too naive still something has got to happen to make her see the actual darkness and Victor a dinner show for the nosferatu fashion line is a splendid idea
I'm leaving this comment as much for future me as anyone else, but the infamous moment where Faye Mata causes Jason to break is at 26:27. His cover for it is one of my favourite moments in the series.

The only information Aurora my have on Jasper maybe the identity of his Sire. It is literally the only thing that Annabelle or the coterie does not know about Jasper because He himself doesn't know.

That’s the great thing about this game. Even if in their sessions Annabelle doesn’t devolve into a monster, that’s just a snapshot of her very long existence. If she’s allowed to survive long enough she will eventually lose touch with humanity and become what she despises eventually, she’ll probably forget that she ever despised it at all. The kindred cannot control their beast forever. Annabelle plus 60 years equals Nelli. And Annabelle plus three hundred years equals Suzanne.
There is also the matter of Jasper's past feeding preferences 😉. Also, I was a bit ticked off with Annabelle's criticism of Jasper......especially given that she abandoned her GF after turning her into a Thinblood.

It’s Annabelle starting to turn into what she hates. She’s a hypocrite. And a lot of her moralizing is supremely self serving. She comes off as less scary than most other characters in this show. But then you realize that she’s able to rationalize anything she does while holding others to an impossibly high moral standard. Look at how she pressured Romona to blood bind a guy against his will, and then lit into Victor for using Dominate. If she survives a few more years, she’ll become a powerful vampire who sees herself as everyone else’s judge and jury (maybe eventually executioner). Who needs the “brujah frenzy” when Erika Ishii is bringing the misguided righteous indignation.
Sooner or later Annabelle will frenzy then everything changes.

OMG Jason Carl is such an awesome story teller and his portrayal of all the NPCs are so wonderful to watch! It is so good to finally see Victor back I have missed his bravado and arrogant wit. Jasper is Jasper and still played with heart though he could do with speaking up more or turn is mic up. Eva, OMG I could feel her fight with rage especially when she found out about Victor's domination. Annabelle, well Annabelle I fear is about to get hurt really bad. It seems that her meteoric rise in the world of darkness has made her too confident. She needs to learn to listen more and not be swinging back and forth between blurting out and being so judgmental. Mind you I adore Erika and realize she is playing a new Brujah entitled millenial. I am so looking forward to seeing more from all the characters and their stories.. and of course the smexy Jason Carl.
Greg and Ib teaming up is something I didn't know I needed so much in my life. Great chemistry between the two of them.

I was really hoping that Vic would have made a clear line in the sand for Annabelle and Kyoko and told them to not tell people to bill him for shit he had nothing to do with. Was REALLY looking forward to his Ventrue side coming out and making it clear he is not a piggy bank for the girls to use and abuse when its convenient.
I still have hope that lessons will be taught to really make Annabelle realize that her playfulness isn't endearing in the Kindred world. Then again I have been waiting for any kind of repercussions for her carelessness and honestly too big of a mouth.

Erika Ishi is great, was so amazing as Marie. Annabelle's presence is usually a cheesegrater against one's skull, really makes you appreciate the rest of the cast, Erika Ishi is truly great for molding her to be a unique entity so separate from her other role on the show.
I forget that I like Erika as an actress because I dislike Annabelle a lot. Also, I don't know anything about VTM as a game. I'm watching this without looking into the rules and mechanics. Annabelle, as a character, is confusing and aggravating. Erika as an actress is amazing.

I felt Nelli G's absence keenly. This seemed mostly an episode to talk about keeping everyone else informed on things.
1. I like Eva's fury at being Dominated.
2. I don't like Velvet as a bad guy! No!
3. I think Annabelle left out a SMALL DETAIL that Chloe was Archangel. That will probably get her killed.
4. I like that Chloe is a manipulative lying blood junkie out for the Embrace.
5. I like how Victor subtly warned Annabelle not to Embrace Mark.
6. I love their Aurora trap and hope they get to spring it.
7. After they take out Fiona and drive out Therese, Nelli and Victor should declare themselves Prince and Princess of LA.
8. Is it wrong to ship Greg and Ib? I ship them. I totally hope he's getting fed on by Nelli, though. That's a perk of being a Toreador ghoul.
