- Marvin Movie Monster is detailing some of Dave Meltzer's recent gaffes, including using an emergency situation involving Nikki Bella to put over AEW and of course that brings Dave Schmeltzer of the Wrestling Slopserver newsletter out to set the record straight. Then, following a clip from Tooney Talk Wrestling featuring Alfred Konuwa of Pro Wrestling Clips, Dave returns with Tooney Khan to sing the new Wrestling Observer theme song. As someone who is on the autism spectrum ... Dave Meltzer & Tony Khan are highly embarrassing because they reenforce negative stereotypes about autistic people. Lack of self-awareness, lack of empathy, and lack of change / growth. Many people on the autism spectrum are the 100% opposite, but we're talking about Dave Meltzer who put wrestling above his marriage and his wife divorced him. That last part is from Jim Cornette a few years ago on Twitter.

Honestly when I first heard this happened, I thought this was done in a podcast. So they were just speaking and just expressing how they never expected to hear from her again, and for a totally different reason. But no it was a freaking article, just randomly mentioned to put over how “totally awesome AEW is”.

As someone whos autistic and has a brother who is very autistic, Dave's near borderline obsession with defending what he likes is textbook hyperfixation that you see in autism. My brother LOVES godzilla movies and old monster horror movies. While he wont argue with people over them like Dave does AEW and his favorite guys, he is very adamant about "protecting" what he loves.

and then Excalibur had the most awkward and weird mentioning of the 9/11 attacks on last night's Dynamite. Followed by a moment of silence that lasted as long as the cut from the announcers table to the stage for Mariah May's entrance. It was jarring and weird. Par for the course in AEW-land.
