    As a member of Generation X it still blows me away how something that used to be something you stuck a couple of D cells in a switched on has evolved to having hundreds of times the brightness, a quarter of the size and practically needs a menu system to operate its many functions. I love technology!

    Excellent Anduril UI tutorial video! I thought I knew everything about Anduril but the factory 13 click reset/hold switch down screwing cap back on(only the latter worked on A-lux MF-01S)was something I wish I'd known 2 years ago. Light wouldn't remember brightness setting last used. When switched back on, always came on at half brightness but now it remembers again. Thanks!

    Hello, thank you very much on your explanation so that I know how to operate my flashlight. My flashlight work fine until recently, i pressed it wrongly in my pocket. I realized, I have some problem for Lockout mode. After 4C, it is not locking properly, after i click it twice, it will turn to the lowest mode, without holding the button. Even after I reset the flashlight, i could not even lock after 4C. It will just turn on whenever i press on the button. Do you happened to know what is wrong with my Anduril settings? Thank you in advance!

    Have you an idea why?

    • @FlashlightEnthusiast
      @FlashlightEnthusiast  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! In order for it to work you need at least 2 different LEDs. Sofirn SC31 Pro does not offer this feature. As I mentioned in the tutorial, not every flashlight has tint ramping

    About stepped ramping, what's the relation between lumens, ceiling and floor? Let's say that I have a Sofirn SC31 Pro with a maximum of 2000 lumens and I want just three steps, moonlight, 100 lúmens and 500 lumens. How to get that? Thanks in advance, this UI is quite complex but getting used with help makes it very interesting!

    • @FlashlightEnthusiast
      @FlashlightEnthusiast  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Complex to achieve that. Ceiling and floor (so highest and lowest mode) can be configured at a desired level. However, between them configuration is limited to number of steps. Theoretically, you could configure ceiling at around level 37 (about 500lm), and floor as moonlight, so level 1-3, depending on your preference. But even then, levels between floor and ceiling are evenly spread, turbo of 2000 lm present as well when double click from on.

      Try to unscrew the head by 1/4 turn, than hold the button and screw down the head, keeping the button depressed. Fast strobe should appear, hold the button as long as the flashlight blinks - you have just reset the flashlight. Hope it helps
