I bought this bag five years ago after seeing it on your video, so thank you for that review video all those years ago :) I got the supple leather version which is slightly slouchier which I liked. It's one of my favourite bags as well and I still use it for work. I get so many complements on it
I was going to get the backpack version in the grained leather. But I think I might get the croc embossed one. I thought the croc version was a little too “flashy” but maybe that’s not a bad thing for Sac de Jour.
I always wanted a Sac de Jour, but I don't really have the need for it now. I work from home so I probably wouldn't get the use from it. But it is still so beautiful. Thank you for the video. Enjoy your Sunday!
LOL "A lot of bag for the money" @ $3000-$4000!?!? A bag you can get a lot for your money would be a Macy's Canvas Sack Bag for $12, often free with a minimum purchase...... I'm Just Kidding Alex. These designer bags are way too expensive.
@@noddybebetrain9896 In just the span of a year, the price went up by more than 700 dollars! I purchased mine in 2021. They were even cheaper back in 2020. Prices just keep going up, it's insane.
@@MAYBEE90 Ok, I'm into more masculine bags myself, but I was considering this bag because the advantage of buying from well known french fashion houses is that they 1) use real leather, 2) have consistent quality control. But the price increases are making it hard to justify buying from them vs looking for a relatively unknown brand that makes good bags. I just wish buying bags was as easy as buying leather shoes, for shoes there are a lot of well known makers who use the highest quality leather, and with styles that are not too avant garde.
