I love that bag and I have one in different color. It was bought new and still looks great after years of usage. But I have to tell you, I never considered safety at work. I often leave it unsupervised in the office that is not locked. I work in southern Germany.
I just assume (maybe foolishly) that nobody cares about the value of that. I work in a tech company and there is a lot of highly valuable items (and information) around me. If someone is there to steal, I assume that my bag would be the last to take.
I love your TH-cam channel and your bag collection. It is impressive. And if you have tips how to find bags that are rare and preloved, but original - please share. I never had confidence to buy preloved because I have seen some very convincing replicas. People get scammed without realizing it.

Do you have insurance on these bags? I mean they're beautiful, but when I hear 9k...or 13k.... to me that is insurance worthy.
Is birkin 35 heavy?
I personally don't find it too heavy, but I also don't have a long public commute where I have to carry it for a long time!
