Hi Anna! My name is Stan Jones from Rochester, NY. I'm a quilter, a cross-stitcher newbie, garment sewist, and I do machine embroidery. I love your videos, and have binged watch from video 1 to present on both Quilt Roadies and Stitch Roadies! You are so inspiring and bring peace to my sewing environment. I know my husband is tired of me replaying your vids. But they bring me peace during this quarantine. Thank you for enlightening our hearts and educating us as well! I've been reading your blog posts as well. You are amazing!

Hello Anna. I love your tee shirt. At first i thought you were wearing a necklace. 😁 thanks again for a relaxing visit. The wind is howling here again tody. Its been in the upper 80s , but cool today and all next week high in the 50s with a chance of snow. Everything is blossoming and out. So im enjoying the flowers while they last. Stay well and God bless.

In your last video when you were working on the bowl filler and talked about the book I immediately went to Amazon and ordered for myself as a birthday gift. It's going to take awhile to get here due to Corona but boy oh boy, when it gets here let the stitching begin. If I can pull myself away from my cross stitching or making donation masks. Thank you Anna. I so enjoy your videos.

My husband and I are always so surprised and excited when you trace your project on our light table 😀 Thank you so much for your kind words! Such an adorable Gail Pan design ❤️ the wording! It's so wonderful how many stitchers are making face masks and scrub caps to donate. We are a good bunch of stitchers 💕

Thanks for your smiling face. Love the bee brave project. We had snow last week here in northern Utah but warmed up this week only to get cold again for Easter Sunday. Found some itty bitty prickly pear along a trail when out hiking. Made me laugh because my parents lived in Tucson and I've lived in Texas and prickly pears are formidable in southwest

Suggestion: when I buy the large bag of pet shop crushed walnut shell. the bag is hard to handle so I store the crushed walnuts in a clean milk jug. It makes it easier to pour the them through a funnel. and I don't have to worry about that plastic bag making a mess in so many ways over time.

My Anna quote of the day, “Keep bringing myself to my happy place.” Very nicely stated, especially in context. Thank you for that reminder that my own thoughts are my responsibility, and by having something pretty and tactile to do at hand, I am reinforcing my particular happy place inside me. Which naturally makes me a better companion to those here with me. Thank you for your many insights and for being the hub of this lovely community.

Hi Anna , Heres a poem Ive written , most crafters will relate to :
Ive so much to do I don’t know where to turn
Do I pick up my cross stitch, new projects to learn
Or maybe a book of 80 from to choose
Or my craft mags I’ve so many to peruse
Some sewing to do and quilting galore
Lots of projects to finish , which I shouldn’t ignore.
Do I pick up my colouring books and pencils and inks
Or perhaps the website with so many craft links
With no where to go , no excuses or circumvention
Reasons why ? with no comprehension
Theres one thing for sure Ive time on my hands
Because of a lockdown which wasn’t planned

I have heard that there are two kinds of toilet paper. One for the home and one for public rooms (stores, work places, exc.). Since we are at home and staying in place and not using the other paper the manufacturing process can't keep up with the demand. Should have kept the tee shirt scraps.😃
So glad that you are doing extra shows and keeping real. Since I am staying in place alone your shows keep me going. Thank you.

I think people do online orders to ensure they get the TP first, that’s my theory. I hope this craziness stops sooner than later. We are having shortages of all baking materials, there must be a lot of survivalists out there lol. We are in Vancouver BC and our weather forecast for the next few days is going up to 17C which will be gardening weather for sure. Take care and thanks for passing on the “bee brave” pattern it is so cute, will def get it done as part of my COVID pieces.

Hi Anna ...love your pillows they turned out so cute. Isn’t that nice of Gail to give out a free super cute pattern. I’ll be waiting for the next step so I can follow along with you because I’m not much of a hand embroider and need guidance 🤣. We are halfway through our lockdown here in NZ and even though we did have the panic loo paper frenzy at the start ( 🤦‍♀️why?!.. the virus doesn’t effect that part of the body 😂) we have no shortage at all ...flour on the other hand is a different story 🥴. Bee happy in your Bubble. 😘💐( do you have that over there ? )

So happy to see you.. Just wanted to tell you I started watching because Quikt Roadies. Who knew I this quilter would fall in live with wool applique the Sue and fancy stitches...which I fave not mastered..hehe. But now the workd if cross stitch omg I am obsessed. Thank you for my new craft obsessions. I am working at a nursing facility. After a long day ,cross stitching allows me to remove myself from those things I don't want to dwell on. Because of my work I am not able to see any of my family and friends. Just me and my hubby who works in another facility. So we even try to distance ourselfs as not to take anything from one site to the other. Enough of that..just thank you for introducing me to a new world..

I So enjoy your videos1 I heard an interesting fact about TP on the news. The shortage is due to all of us working stiffs being at home as well as school kids etc... We are all using a bunch. Commercial TP is completely different. Different suppliers and they have not retooled for domestic production. hope you find some soon. I got mine at costco and they had plenty.

Hi Anna! When you put the very thin Pellon on the back of your embroidery fabric, then can you use a hoop or a q-snap? Or do you have to do it in hand? Can you roll up the edge in your non-dominant hand, or will that mess it up? Curious. It seems like it would make the finished product look a lot crisper, and it definitely would not warp. xoxo

Can you recommend a place to purchase the SF101? I like the idea of using that for my embroidery projects. After your recommendation awhile back, I bought a me-sew tracing table. Love it, it is so much easier on my back, the tracing area is very large, and I love the clips to hold things in place. You have the best recommendations, my she shed is full of them.

Got a problem. JoAnns is out of bolts of sf101 as everyone's using it for masks! I have 2 tee shirt quilts to make for my 2 nephews and 20 HS tees each. Can I just press the edges with starch instead? I did a search online and it's really too pricey for me. Retired and twiddling my thumbs LOL
