I Met Someone Special In The Philippines (

  • After spending so much time in the hoods of Manila, it was time to get some fresh air. Just a few hours north of Manila is the former site of the Clark Air base. And just outside of Clark is a village home to the Aeta people, who are Melanesian or "black Filipinos".
I decided to visit with my new half-American acquaintance, Rose. I had no idea what to expect, which was good, because I ended up taking an entire village on a field trip across grasslands to a local theme park. And to think I just wanted to have a lazy Sunday afternoon..

It is really nice of you to have provided entrance fee for the children to see the amusement park. They may not have said thank you, they may not even know 'Sabbatical'. But rest assured - their classmates, friends, relatives and neighbors will hear of it today and for the years to come, that one afternoon in early 2023, you brought them there.

For those who are "concerned" about me. Lol. I'm an introvert and I get uncooperative sometimes.
I have my own life now and my everyday life doesn't revolve around the fact that "my father abandoned me". I may live in a third world country, but I think I am living a better life than some girls (in the US or not) with married parents/complete family growing up. I'm thankful for the gift of life that I have. 🤍
And my mother was not a hooker 🤭

Nice response Rose! As a black man, who is a dad and lolo, I certainly would have been proud if you were my daughter. Stay proud of who you are and where you come from. I'm an introvert as well, and it's hard for people to sometimes understand folks like us, but that's not our problem.

Now I feel almost ashamed for that. Why is it that we draw these conclusions so quickly? Heck I would even go as far and say your life is probably more interesting than mine.

Immediately run to the bake stores and buy those breads and gave to each one of them. This time of year, Holy Week, is a very interesting time to be in the Philippines, Tommy. They carry on many Spanish traditions during the week: Religious parades some featuring the penitents, usually men who atone for their sins by publicly flagellating themselves. Some even go so far as to tie themselves to a cross for 3 hours on Good Friday. It’s not for the faint of heart, but interesting for sure. I saw some of the same type of activities while stationed in Rota, Spain in the early 70’s.

I like his videos at they are authentic. In the service me and someone higher rank than me would travel off the beaten path to exp the actual culture. Of places we went to plus we both could handle ourselves. He was not American can't recall where he was originally from. I also lived in bad areas of the US before. I miss having adventure in my life.

next time youre up north try out aparri, hotel dianne isn't bad and it's cheap. the eatery across the street has great food, or try out inasal, has great roasted chicken. better than any I had in the states.
Theres a ton of cool spots along the santa fe on the way out there and the trip through the mountains is like being in a tropical heaven.

Make sure to look into Denisovan Lineage and Filipinos. And all the newest research. Like the Aeta People come from. As well as Native Americans Share in the same Lineage.
Neandrathals/Denisovan/Homo Sapiens Interbreedings.. all very interesting sciences and studies.
