Cobra Bubbles is the caring yet firm social worker of Lilo with his knuckles reading “cobra.” But earlier in his life he focused on something much different for the government. He’s CIA!? How does he know the Grand Councilwoman? What is Roswell? And how did he end up becoming a social worker?

Princess Jada Yes. I hope he does Mama Odie. I would really enjoy learning about her she seems like a very inspirational, energetic, loving, sweet hearted, wise person! If he did a video on her I would jump with excitement. I love her she reminds me of a family member close to me in my family.
I think there's a theory floating around that she is an old old goddess in human form.
I think cobra's name sort of is a nod of what you mentioned vinny, being intimidating but loving. His name is that of a type of snake and something of a fun thing that people can play with being cobra and bubble's.

Funny you mention that,I have this theory that Mr Bubbles is J,He said he saved the planet a long time ago,he's got the outfit and it seems like he does have experience with other aliens.It's likely Mr Bubbles is just a more serious and experienced Agent J,maybe he's undercover and examining the alien activities in Hawaii.
But hey that's just a theory.
People are forgetting the massive military base in Hawaii. I think Lilo's parents were military and died while on a mission with Cobra. The stormy drive was a cover up story. Also, the reason why Lilo feeds Pudge is to prevent Nani from dying. The one day she didn't feed Pudge was the day they died.

This is a wonderful theory, Issac; I think Cobra became a social worker because of personal reasons. Maybe he knew a parent within the girls’ family; maybe he knew somebody who inspired him to be social worker after suffering from a personal loss or maybe, he just fancied a career change. Who knows? However, there’s one thing I do know. In all honesty, Cobra needs to have his own show Disney! Disney, please make it happen. 🦋✨

What if the Social Worker job was a cover up for him? Stitch had already landed on earth by the time Cobra shows up, and Nani and Lilo had never met him before. The government would be well aware that something entered the atmosphere and with their knowledge of aliens prior they probably knew what to do. To prevent a panic they sent in an agent to scope things out and handle things that got out of hand- what if Cobra wasn't watching Nani to make sure she was going to find a job? What if he was watching Stitch? Is it a dog or and alien? Is it a threat to humanity or something we can harmonize with, are questions they'd want to know. Cobra infiltrated the family under the guise of a SW! The government/cia would definitely be able to make that happen. ^^: sorry this got long... YES. This is what I always figured ! Stitch was in a crash course, not deliberately landing on Earth - so the CIA would've predicted the landing beforehand. Cobra was most likely sent as an agent to monitor the situation - considering how he already had involvement with the aliens back in 73. He took someone else's job as a cover up, but he is still very much working to the CIA (considering how, at the end of the movie, he mentions "this won't be easy to explain back at headquarters").
There's some stuff which contradicts this interpretation, but I still find it to be the most believable one without knowledge of the show !

Awesome theory! I think Cobra became a social worker because of personal reasons. Either he got stressed out from dealing with alien affairs and just wanted to go with a more low-key job (kinda like happened with Rupert Grint for awhile) or he was friends with their family and promised to look out for them.
As for other video ideas, how about why Myrtle hates Lilo, what do you imagine the Disney Animated Princess' modern day descendants to be like or what do you think Lilo's life might be like as an adult (since the movie took place in the early 2000s and she'd likely be in college or in her starting a career)?

I love that cobra bubbles isn’t really portrayed as a villain, he does actually care about Lilo and wants what best for her. Usually characters like this are bad guys, but not him, yeah he’s hard on Nani but it’s not like he wants her to fail, he is being firm for a reason, she’s still a teenager and is caring for a young child, of course he’s gonna be hard, and when he told her he was taking Lilo, you can tell he was sincerely sad to do it, but he felt it was right.
Cobra Bubbles was indeed a former CIA agent who worked with others in handling the instances of Roswell and interacted with those aliens.
He is now retired and took a job as a social worker just in case if there might be aliens living amongst us and can use his pull with CIA to help them.

Although I'm pretty certain they got the idea from Men In Black. Don't get me wrong but he does look like a Men In Black agent. Where he literally knows about aliens more than the rest of the US governments and other government agencies. But they can't say that because that would be considered copyright infringement. The reason I say that is because well Warner Brothers owns Men in Black.

Another theory: Cobra Bubbles was a social worker as a cover story. He was to be in Hawaii for some other task that the CIA needed him for, and a social worker sounded like a good fit.
I think I agree w ur reason u gave for why he became a Social Worker.

Gantu was more of a villian in the TV show than the first movie. He was just doing his job in capturing Stitch, sure he was heavily invovled in a climatic UFO chase, but still...

2) I think Cobra became a SW due to maybe there were a certain amount of aliens who are living on Earth that had families, so now there are hybrids and it’s his mission to watch over them to make sure they are not a threat but in order to keep his cover safe he also has to take cases from regular humans as well hence Lilo

He said "Roswell 1973." This implies a later incident. By his looks, Cobra would not have been alive in '47. For him to be alive and competent enough to work at Roswell in 1947 he would be about 80 in the movie. But he doesn't look over 50.
This is perfect and it explains why Crobra Bubbles is awesome, he became a social worker because he wanted to protect the safety of children.

@wosto_videos is it possible that the reason why Cobra was the assigned social worker to Lilo's family was because (A) Her parents or at least one of her grandparents used to work for the CIA with him and he's makes sure that descendants of those who know the actual truth about aliens don't leak any family secrets or (b) he's sent to find potential candidates that could be groomed for taking over the earth defense agency, kind of like pseudo child soldier/agent. The latter makes alot of sense since while he does left Lilo to Nani, he does put her in charge in finding and containing +620 experiments that could destroy life on earth as they knew it.

I find it interesting how Stitch was able to channel Cobra’s conversation from his ears to his mouth. Possibly because he inherits Experiment 234: Shush’s powers, who listens to private conversations close by. Maybe the episode: The Asteroid was meant to foreshadow the episode: Shush, along with Experiment 234 herself.

Read up on actual Powhatan history, don't follow the book out there, according to Adam ruins everything its embellished and basically self fan fiction. Powhatan had many wives and many children. Pocahontas was the name White people gave her. She was also ten years old, kidnapped, sold to a man when she was older, was brought to England and died at 22 of disease never seeing her remaining family again. Disney did a cash grab on this one and pretty much took liberties with history. If they cared enough to follow the history they probably would have had to scrap this one because no happy ending happened. If they really had to do an American Indian story they could have researched native tales, there are thousands. I would love to see a movie about Waterbug vrs Bearwoman where a little girl outsmarts a people eating monster lady.

Me and my sisters were wondering the other day how he got into social work. We thought that maybe he was in the system as a kid and wanted to help other kids in the same situation. As for the cia we thought maybe one of the kids he had helped was located near roswell and he kinda got roped into the situation. After he helped the cia he wanted to help not only kids, but also the human race so he joined the cia. In order to keep an eye still on the public and to possible locate aliens under the radar he kept doing social work
Despite Cobra bubbles being one of the most important and popular characters in lilo and stitch series he has the least amount of focus and screen time out of all characters in future and he didn’t appear in lilo and stitch 2 and Leroy and stitch aside voice cameo no flashback about his backstory

That line "CIA, Roswell, 1973" was the best in the entire movie! When I saw the show with my grandson a long, loooong time ago, that was where, in a packed darkened theater, one person's loud surprised laugh rang out. I think Cobra Bubbles became a social worker for the fame and the big bucks.
Maybe for the next video, theorize that Winnie the Pooh, its characters, and their many adventures are just elaborate figments of a little boy's imagination.

Hey Wotso Videos! There's a question on my mind that has bugged me since Mulan first came out. We see in the movie that Mulan severely wounded in the battle against Shan Yu, so much so that she passes out from blood loss and has to be treated by a medic (which ultimately reveals her big secret of being a woman in the army). Now I'm no expert on ancient Chinese medicine, but I'm pretty sure Mulan would've ended up with a lot of stitches to close up that wound, which I'm sure would've really hurt for quite a while. However, we later see her scaling buildings, riding horses, running, fighting dozens of surviving Huns and not ONCE does the action re-open her wound! (Yes I understand it's Disney but still) My question is: Would it have even been possible for Mulan to have fought Shan Yu with a recent battle wound like this? And if so, what kind of treatments would Mulan have to have gone through to still be battle-fit? Thanks a bunch!

What I don't get is why he doesn't take off his glasses when talking to Lilo in that first scene. Eye to eye is one way to establish a form of trust
After seeing Gantu and the implication this guy is a government USA agent who might take Lilo away, Bubbles's actually wholesome. The former saw Stich as an abomination and immediately denounced him, threatened him, and is always shown in medium or low-angle shots to indicate he towers over everyone using his height to imply power and status. He generally seems impatient and ill-tempered and comes across as a shoot-first-ask-questions-later type, and even captures Lilo with no concern. By that point the aliens aren't playing, they've already given Stich a chance in the council and Jumba/Pleakly bumbled it, but Gantu's genuinely not someone you should let off a leash and we've grown endeared to Stich, and know he's not a criminal. Bubbles by contrast is way more likable. The man is PROFESSIONAL. He shows up and is immediately direct, firm, and no-nonsense. He says few words, never smiles and specifies that he's here because things are serious. Every question he asks always concerns Lilo's welfare. He gets down to her level and asks if she's happy when he talks to her, avoids talking about his most likely troubled past that he knows she shouldn't hear and keeps the conversation moving, gives a deadline he's always watching for, and empathizes when they don't seem they'll meet it, only loses his temper when the house is literally destroyed when Lilo has been left alone, and will remove his glasses at first only to make a human point when talking to Nanis but in the credits, he's shown in photos at their family dinners or tv room dressed in regular attire and free of the glasses being part of their found family himself implying he stays in touch with those he helps and probably wanted something like that himself. Also, he literally saved the planet by talking about the welfare of mosquitos. I like to think he used the most universally hated insect that EVERYONE hates because he knew it was kind of a misfit and served some ultimate function which is literally the whole movie's point given it's full of aliens, Hawaiians making their way, Lilo's social issues, and broken/found families. The guy's distant and most likely saw some terrible things but he's a genuinely good man who cares that people get the help they actually need.
