Another fun fact: Seohyun was the one who wrote and composed Dear Santa! She has also written Holiday (_the_ Holiday), some songs from the I Got a Boy album, Sweet Talk, my favorite song from the Holiday Night album and most of her solo songs, including Don't Say No, the amazing title track! And I'm also not a huge fan of Christmas, but I really like SNSD's Christmas songs (they have another two, if I'm not mistaken, Snowy Wish and Diamond)
Seohyun wrote the lyrics for Dear Santa, she didn't compose.

@@demitwice no problem at all. I think we as fans need to know clearer and have to be rational sometimes, as in we shouldn't magnify everything our beloved idol does. Just like Taeyeon participate on the lyrics of [ I ], I think she contribute just a little bit on the lyrics, that's why she feel a little embarrassed when ppl asked if she wrote the lyrics lol. Well... I talk too much but you get my point. :)

Hehe Taeyeon is so attractive, her and Yoona are are most popular with men (and women). Taeyeon just focuses as a singer but she actually had an influence of an “IT” girl without much tv/acting exposures. She is so talented but Taeyeon’s charms is that she is very shy and awkward despite of her talent.Also a lonely soul :( Im glad that seems like she has or is beating up her depression and has grownnn a lot now and in a happier place.thsts all i want for her.
TTS's Winter Story will forever be my favorite Christmas song (along with Tiffany's Peppermint). You should check out the live acoustic version they did on smtown's channel!
Tiffany's obsession with pink has calmed down in the last few years but she used to be so into it, it was super funny. Once, she did one of those what's in my bag videos in a korean show and every single item was pink, and one of the hosts was so dumbfounded the whole time. The other host wasn't cause it was Sooyoung and she was already used to it lmao.
I am ok with Christmas music but I think that's mostly because in my country Christmas is not that big of an event (who needs Christmas when you have Carnaval) and we don't play much Christmas music. Maybe like on Christmas Eve and the day itself but not for a whole month. I did spend one Christmas in London because my brother was studying there and yeah, I listened to All I want for Christmas is You way too many times for my liking, and that was just by walking the streets and sightseeing, I can't imagine what someone working retail has to endure.
Not only does TTS have a christmas mini album, but Taeyeon has one as well! SNSD has one song, but they did a whole special in 2011 where they sang tons of Christmas songs. I understand not wanting to check that out since you hate the songs, but I just want you to know that during Santa Baby Tiffany sings "a 54 convertible too, hot pink" instead of light blue lol

Im so glad you are having fun with the girls, its almost impossible to not like TTS with they powerful vocals and just stunning looks so I was fairly confident you would. Nobody cares probably but I have to talk about it lol. I discovered kpop a few months before "Twinkle" came out. I was only listening to a few songs by like a couple of groups and I distinctly remember the day it popped up on TH-cam and I was like "omg a new kpop song was released, let's check it out!!" and I don't know how to explain this feeling but it feels INCREDIBLY weird seeing someone reacting to it. It's like that song is from another reality or something because I heard it so long ago and the memory is so clear in my mind despite not knowing shit about kpop back then and just idk it's weird hsjhdsdksh

oof well I might have to join the patreon because of that. Theres probably a reason Purpose won the poll, imo one of the best albums I've ever heard in kpop. I didnt think she would ever top My Voice (her first album) but somehow she did.
I worked a long time in retail, and one year the receptionist announced it was closing time, and IMMEDIATELY after the Hallelujah Chorus came up on the Christmas music loop over the speakers, and all the clerks in the store started laughing. Given the limited selection of songs on the loop, and the endless hours over the whole season that it was playing, it was almost bound to happen sometime, but the timing was just too perfect!
Dear Santa is the title track of their Christmas mini album. They have great songs in the album.

They're the most famous kpop rock/pop band in Korea and they're having a comeback after 2.5 years. Oh I know what you mean with working in retail in December, I just shut down when we turn on the radio and put it into white noise mode in my head. I mean the songs are okay but not for listening to them for weeks, multiple times a day. Some of the "western" Christmas songs I like are Coldplay- Christmas lights, Chris Rea- Coming home for Christmas, and some newer releases I can'tremember the name of currently as it's one in the morning.
In my free time in December (usually not ablot since I work part-time in retail) I usually listen to kpop christmas songs like Dear Santa, EXO-Miracles in December, and I could go on.
I'm surprised no one mentioned their top three kpop singers they're attracted to... so I could list so many women in kpop that I think are super pretty, there are so many, right? But as far as who I'm legit into that would be Nancy from Momoland, Jaekyung from Rainbow but especially when she was promoting Rainbow Blaxx, and Bora from Sistar. BTW, there are rumors that Jaekyung almost ended up in Girls Generation and/or Kara. I also think Nana from Afterschool, Yuri from Girls Generation, and Yura from Girl's Day are up there, too :)

Man I agree with you about Taeyeon's beauty haha, I'd be lying if I said it was her voice that got me into Kpop over a decade ago. It was actually her visuals 👀 Girls' Generation were performing Etude and Genie at a football match heh, and she stood out to me. Googled them up and watched many of their stuff, Taeyeon's dorky personality back then really hooked me in.... She was like the most popular with the male idols (and female idols too), there's a youtube channel (th-cam.com/users/taenyosh ) that collects many of her fanboy/girl moments xD

Mirotics is legendary and the choreo! They are a very talented artist. They are also from SMent. TVXQ is in between of 1st and 2nd gen. You wont be disappointed.
