      Your hospital will be able to answer this properly. I don't think long term care will be covered by health insurance or NHS.

      We use the insurance through policybazaar. Used the following in previous years- reliance, national insurance

    Thanks for the video. What visa type can a UK citizen or resident choose to invite their mother who is not a UK native please? In this case it is the UK citizen who needs their mother to take care of them after medical procedures

      From my limited understanding this situation will require input from immigration lawyers. These settlement applications are notoriously difficult.

      They will first need to find a job and the employer can sponsor their visa.

      She can apply for you to be settled after PR but the success rate for these appeals are extremely low.

      Your wife and children will be on your dependent visa so healthcare will be covered.however your parents will need private health insurance. You can manage financially but your savings will be quite low.

      Its difficult to do that.Perhaps if they have other friends and family who will invite them and you can travel at the same time. Its much easier if you have an accommodation and job here.

      Your parents and sister should be able come using the standard visitor visa. Unfortunately for the visitor visa, home office did not specify any definite amount of funds. I usually submit mine and my parents bank account statements and return travel tickets.

      Yes, one can afford
      Go to Google flights and put the name of cities where you want to fly. You will get the ticket costs.

      6 months. However there are options for longer visit duration upto 10yrs for UK.in that case they will have to go back to India after 6months and then can return back.

      They can apply as soon as you have an accommodation and job in the uk. Roughly after 2-3mnths. Strictly speaking you don't really need to be in uk for your parents to apply for visit visa but having your own accommodation is really helpful so that you can act as a sponsor for your parents

      Immigration health surcharge is mandatory for dependant visa. At present, there have been waiver of IHS for certain health workers due to COVID.

      Switching from visit visa to sponsorship visa is quite a complex process. I would suggest getting professional help in this regard.

      Clinical exposure varies between hospital.thats why we rotate in different hospital as a part of training.we don't have OPD like Indian hospitals as most clinics have set template which are booed by secretaries 6-8 weeks in advance.usually 8-12 patient for specialty clinic.

      After passing PLAB you can either join standalone FY2 or non training job+CREST form.for internship to be valid , GMC have certain specifications in their website.please check them out.

    Hi Suman... I am portuguese citizen... having pre settled status since I moved to UK in 2018... I want to get my parents to uk ( holding indian citizenship ) ... I have been advised to apply for a family permit to get them here... but then I was wondering if at all I can get them settled on EU settlement for next 5 years so literally I won't have to bother to get them every time on family visa.... Will that help... pls advise... thx in advance

      Things might work differently because you are Portuguese/EU citizen. I really won't be able to advise on this topic.

      You do have a strong reason to bring him to UK. I would suggest contacting immigration solicitor to advise you.

      It's extremely costly to access NHS treatment as tourists. You must arrange for a health insurance from India before traveling to UK.

      As u mentioned in the video , this will be very difficult. Also being a live in carer, you will need a separate accommodation for your parents. Visitor visa is the easiest option. For dependant visa please consult a solicitor.

      Yes, visitor visa should be fine for your mom to visit you for 6mnths

      PLAB is good enough to secure a job at SHO level. But middle grade jobs/registrar jobs require MRCP usually.MRCP is 3 step exam so might not save you a lot of time compared to PLAB.If you have some years of experience and you want to apply for middle grade jobs then MRCP is more appropriate.

      Hi, your mom should be able to get a job in NHS through tier 2 visa.i am not sure about the exact process but I am sure your mom can find that out from her colleagues. She will be able to start job in UK without nursing training in UK.

      You can register with local GP during your stay.They might charge you for using their services which is not a lot.admission in hospital will require a lot of money unless you have travel insurance.
