  • This video uses a comprehensive example to illustrate how the Statement of Cash Flows is a useful tool in evaluating a firm's liquidity. Firms go bankrupt when they run out of cash, regardless of what their earnings happen to be, so the Statement of Cash Flows serves a valuable purpose by telling us how a firm obtained and used its cash during a period.

As an undergraduate student studying Financial Analysis, these videos are extremely beneficial to students looking to nail down information in their heads. It's difficult sitting and getting lectured at for an hour and a half, so a 7 minute video that keeps it simple?!?!? Absolutely invaluable. Great job.

As a non-accounting major preparing for the CPA, your videos are a LIFE SAVER. I find myself favoring your videos than the 2000$+ review package I bought for the CPA exam. Thank you so much for providing us with great content.

Hi, how do we see if the CFO will be enough to pay the Interest? Is there any ratio?

    • @Edspira

You could simply look at the Income Statement to see if your cash flows from operating exceeds your interest expense for the year.
