Very RARE! Class 26 on the mainline!!! Damaged points!! NEW rail delivered and more!!! CREWE 26/6/24

The main shot in this video is 37425, hauling 26007 and 20066 to Bury , for the upcoming diesel gala.
A type 3, type 2 and type 1!!!
Very rare to see a class 26 on the mainline now!
Also seen is a damaged /worn point blade, a very long piece of rail being delivered, with difficulty,to the Network Rail site, D6851 'Flopsie' , freight and more .

I took a couple of snaps of the 26 & the 20 on Monday. They'd spent a few days parked up at the publicly viewable end of the Freightliner engine shed sidings in Leeds. The 20 looked particularly stunning 😊

Lots going on there. It was good to see a 26 out on the main again even if not under it's own power. I guess that rail was 60 feet long
