Gonna bet Lake Isabella is definitely full now! Excellent video of the Kern River, bet it's flowing all the way through Bakersfield now. Very cool, Robert! Thanks for sharing this with all of us!
I was sharing with a family about you and your TH-cam channel and meeting you at the very spot where they were sitting river side. I reviewed my last year's footage, a big difference in waterflow and no fishermen on the river.
At the 9 minute mark, there are some large holes in the rocks. Are those natural or man-made? Love the video. When I was younger and not with a cane, I loved it there. My hubby fished and I bird watched. 😊
Hi Marilyn, I had the same question, highly natural formations. I have seen Native American bedrock mortars and they are very shallow. I'm glad I could bring back good memories.
Wow as a kern resident man I've never seen the river flow that hard! This must have been before the 7500 cfs flow cant imagine what it looks like right now.
thanks for making this awesome video
Thank you, it was fun to document the mighty Kern River
Great video sir, thanks.
Thanks Scott, glad you enjoyed it

Thanks Mark! Here's a great video and well researched on the Lower Kern River beyond Bakersfield th-cam.com/video/Ay1EyJdOLLg/w-d-xo.html
So wild! So much different than when we were there last year!
