I've stayed at The Carlyle & it's ok. The Bar is warm & welcoming. But The Plaza Hotel has always been my #1 Favorite NYC Hotel. And I was born in Manhattan, too.
Just read a book on Elaine Stritch and she use to stay there and I believe perform there too!!! Oh how I’d love to stay just a few days in such an opulent place like the Carlyle and be treated like royalty and see maybe some famous individuals too!!!❤❤❤
The Carlyle is one of those great, classic, legendary NYC places to live. But even if you buy a "baseline" 2-bedroom suite at the Carlyle, you have to pay about $20,000 a month just for the amenities and service.
Isnt it owned by a billionaire Hong Kong family/ company now? Its an enjoyable watch mainly because of the staff, not the celebs, except for Elaine Stritch who was fab R.I.P.
Are you serious? Rich people ALWAYS have drugs and cops know this. They also don't give af because there's nothing they can do about it. Celebrities and the uber wealthy are some of the worst junkies on the planet. Imagine having an addiction that you'll never get in trouble for and you'll never run out of money to pay for.
I just watch this - interesting but the simpering cloying employees are only there to metaphorically blow the uber-wealthy guests and make sure their ego remains sufficiently polished to a sheen that allows them to bask in their own reflection. A revolting display of wasted money masquerading as elegance from a distant age.

They never talk about their clients. Now they are. LOL

Well into the show there she is Elaine Stritch!!!!❤❤❤
There is only one flaw in this charming documentary. The presence and comments of the revolting Piers Morgan.
Excellent doc to just revel in elite money attitude ahhhh
Love, " elevator operators here..., Kim Heirston. I feel the same...oh wait, no idea.

It would be fun to discover a rich person with drugs so you can put him in jail, assuming they dont pay off police.

The Nuevo Riche of 21st Century cannot rival historical provenance, visionary historians and builders, except #elonmusk @elonmusk
It's inherent.
