So....what are WE seeing and hearing through. He's performing, "Your Song", then he's performing something that sounds like, "Sacrifice". ...and what happened/happens, and why is there not more video? Why does this just stop? Why haven't we heard anything about this?

Most of us would crumble simply being on a stage with that many people waiting for you to sing, but when _your own body_ refuses to let you do what you love most - what has endeared the entire world to you - it would be extremely difficult to ask yourself who you are without it.

Performers are all different. I'm assuming Elton needs to glance at the keys occasionally for reference. I sympathize because I've been using a computer keyboard since 1997 and still have to look at the keys. I have to turn a light on to type at night, yet I learn other things without a problem. People are not the same.

If he didn't want to retire.....he could try learning to play withlut sight like Andrea Bocelli and others. But it would be a journey,.but is also aided with years of playing, so he probably doesn't really need to look anyway, he's just used to doing it.
