Pant just played 6 odis this year n overall 30 in 4 years not enough for him.. He should be playing more odis, bcci needs to give more chances such a fantastic n a match winner he is... The way he batted in test is outstanding... Best of luck in 2023 .... Rp 17..@ pure champ

I can't leave out Pat Cummins from the side, after having seen his performances on the flat beds in Pak. He was magnificent, getting reverse swing and playing a big part in the test series win, not only as a captain, but as a strike bowler. Marco Jansen and Rabada had the benefit of playing on very seamer friendly wickets of SA.
Totally agree! Cummins single-handedly turned the momentum of the entire Pakistan series. Saying that, I love Rabada and Jansen, so I can’t really fault Harsha for picking them.
If this was anyone else other than Harsha, you would see a lot of players picked from his own country. Harsha's 11 is purely based on performances and impact of players rather than nationality. Theres just 1 Indian in the side that he chose.

Stokes has batting avg of 36.25 in 26 innings with 2 centuries and 4 half centuries. While Jadeja has avg of 82.00 in 5 innings with 2 centuries. Not to mention better bowling stats with avg of 21.50 compare to stokes 31.19.
He is an absolute genius! There are some dumb Indian fans who think he can't bowl outside Eng. Ms dhoni and Tendulkar have rated him among the greats. I would rather listen to them than low iq Indian fans.
While the rest of the team is actually great, there’s no way Root makes it over Labuschagne at No.3. Marnus had a much better average and he just seems to be much more consistent. Not to mention, he actually bats at no.3 and Joe Root doesn’t. That’s a real miss.

Cummins is a must in any test team. For the spinner... I know he doesn't get many chances to play Test cricket but just on pure talent.. Rashid Khan would be in my team.... Batting looks good but Labuchagne (pardon any spelling mistakes as it's a very hard name to spell) should be in there somehow.

I would have chosen labuchagne over Babar bcz the pitches Babar played on were Highway pitches no offense, but the way marnus has played test cricket, he's the next big thing to watch out in test after Smith 🔥
No disrespect to babar as he got his runs mostly in home condition, but I would go with Travis head, the way he played against pakistan was phenomenal.

Ashwin,Shakib are pretty good spinning all-rounders especially after their recent Ind Vs Bang match. Ashwin being a smart cricketer,I think he would be a better choice than Nathan Lyon

Cummins averaged 22 in Pakistan on absolute roads when every other bowler was getting smashed and was a massive part In Aus winning there... Cummins and Labuschagne are also Currently no.1 in the rankings and Aus lead the WTC by a mile...
