Very good team, for me I would replace Sehwag with Sharma. Rohit Sharma is one of the most underrated players of all time. I would also replace Bumrah with Akram. Wasim Akram greatest bowler of all time imo.

Good to see the name of some old players in this list. People forget that these old batsman played in an era when the game was not so batsman dominated and the greatest bowlers played.
Thats why sachin and bradman were the greatest batsmen ever, uncovered pitches, ruthless fast bowling, two paced and seaming wickets, true reverse swing, flimsy equipment and helmets, smaller bats and bigger grounds, no powerplay no field restrictions.

Well in this list only Virat Kohli is current legend not Bumrah. Even Zaheer Khan would have been better . Wasim himself in place of Bumrah would make it a perfect 11. And talking about greats of the game, no doubt no one from current Pakistan team made it to team . As you mentioned, Babar may be in this list after some years. But all of current ODI players of Pakistan are quite new except some.

yes greats of modern day cricket but its all time sachin,miandad, sehwag etc scored in that era where batting wasnt easy. long boundries, 1 ball used not 2, reverse seam very difficult to play.

I have seen openers like Sachin, Ganguly, Gilchrist etc who scored long runs in ODIs and survied first 25 overs has faced insane reverse swing of Waqar, Wasim, Shoaib, Donald, Bond, Vaas etc which today's batsman like Rohit Sharma couldn't even imagine.
Today ODIs is obsolate and if it even happens then ball is changed 2 times to protect the batsman from reverse swing and boundaries are short so that everyone can enjoys 4 and six easily 😂
I have seen those banana reverse swing live in 90s with old ball in both direction from Wasim, Waqar, Shoaib at furious speed which todays generation has no idea because they have never seen playing with old scratchy blachish dirty ball which swings like hell in todays cricket
With all due respect to this team, I would say Australia’s world cup winning team of 2003 had the potential to beat any team around the world. You make any team from any era and those guys would still be in for a challenge.
