Ciao Pavel. Thank's for the video and agree with your explenations. I just wonder why INAV is not keep tha pace of Betaflight by supporting the new H743 boards on the market. The INAV target for H743 are just half of what BF does have. Is there intention to enlarge support of other third parts controllers? thank's
Thank you for the clear message. Why is there not a package that combines the microcontroller with other chips for example the transmitter, osd controller or the motor controllers? I understand the accelerometer and gyroscope are mems which require slightly different processing steps, but for the others, they could be done in a single die.
Corrections... H750 runs BF just fine, faster in fact than an H743 because all the code runs from RAM, not external flash so there is no flash-access penalty! Secondly, the PX4 edition of the H7EXTREME with a different flash chip has 2MB flash memory, more than the cheaper 1MB H743's, and runs BF, PX4 and Ardupilot. If iNAV has gotten to big to fit in RAM on the H750 then the devs should target the H7EXTREME PX4 edition instead, or use a bootloader than can load elf files into apprioriate ram sections instead of copying from ram to ram on startup thus saving *loads* of space. You didn't mention the H730, which is what is currently used by the SPRacingH7RF which runs BF with ELRS SPI RX integrated and on-board Pixel OSD. You also didn't mention the H723/H733/H735/H753 all of which can also be used. PCB manufacturers should target a single PCB that can fit any of the H723/H730/H733/H735 when carefully designed to give various Ram/Flash/External Flash options.
Hi Pawel Am I stuck with a useless FC? For Christmas I bought a Lumenier Lux H743 HD to upgrade my 7 inch INAV quad because it had crappy video due to the lack of good voltage regulators. For now (hoping its temporary) the firmware target is the MatekH743, I can't get INAV past the Accelerometer calibration I even tried Rev 6.0.0. In addition there are 50 I2C errors. I have been building since the Naze32 so I do have some experience but not with the advanced CLI commands. The specs of this board SCREAM INAV but it comes with an older "custom" version of BF and the web sites hint that newer firmware will work. Nope! Can I do something in the CLI to fix this? Thoughts?
Thank you for the good video! can you tell us please if the Pixhawk better than the H743 or vise versa, I had pixhawk in airplane and Helicopter and I know that the PHX4 can run on anything and have good boards.. Thanks in advance
F405 is only a MCU, not the whole flight controller. Which exactly F405 you have in mind? But if it works with 8 outputs, then why should it not work with 6 outputs?
I still fly omnibus f4 and kakute f4 v2....when I bought them 4 years to 5 years ago, first f7 were appearing and f4 were dead: not enough of this or that...even you, a year ago, you said F4 were dead, but now f4 is the way to go, go figure... The only reason I'm getting some new boards is because HDzero isn't capable of putting a good quality regulator on their vtx, so I need a 10v source not to smoke them....
Sense you’re an engineer you may be the person for me to ask a question. I have an inflight F7 FC. I made the mistake of thinking it had a baro on it. Do you know if I could add both a baro along with GPS?
I'm not a drone expert but.. can a flight computer/controller work out the wind speed and direction from the control outputs needed to maintain station? If so then that info and the height would help you drop things onto target by compensating for the wind.
Can you maybe present some builds and your recommended FCs for them? Im using a lot of f411 on my toothpick builds. Got an H7 too, but not sure of its full potential in use
@@FPVUniversity are you talking about Fport or what other options are out there? ELRS and Crossfire? I guess I am just wanting to know what else is out there. I really appreciate all your hard work!

Anyone got an idea how to trigger an Relais module using a Speedybee F405 v3? There are no pins I can set to high/low like on an Arduino/ESP32 I could use the servo signal, but I would need something to translate PWM to an High/Low state to trigger the Relais. It is for educational purposes lol.
I use all F722 ,, they all work incredible super smooth ,, But I not use GPS !! why ? I fly freestyle .. so why count out F722 .. GPS is a waste of money , betalight gps is worthless ,, your drone will stop 5 to 10 feet in the air with beta , flight fall out of the sky and break an arm !! if its going down gps will not save you .. Gps is for beginners and youtubers trying to test to the limit and end up losing a $300 drone for what ? also I never use black box I set my motors to between 75 and 85 % motor output and you will never burn out an esc while flying or have issues with the F722 . go thru all the crap with black box I just buy a new esc which 9 times out of 10 is the issue and 8 out of 10 people probably never use it . I set all my quads the same except if the quad is little heavy and filtering depending on gryo, I do not take chances and your supposed to fly line of site anyway

baro goes to I2C in parallel to MAG, so yes, you can

The thing with G4 is that they are smaller and weaker.
