A favorite mex food memory is living around so SD. And the Sunday smells of carne asada down wind of every park cooked on mesquite. Carne asada fiestas tomó cerca de mi corazone
Oh my goodness, besides the recipe, your outdoor kitchen is amazing!! Thank you for sharing this simple yet elegant dish! I am definitely going to try this out.
I'm planning on doing a little grilling party for Dia de los Muertos coming up so your video hit me at just the right time! I definitely plan on doing this. Thanks Rick!
I do pretty good following your instructions so things come out fairly well. Thank you for that. But, man, how much better would it be if I had your outdoor set up and the beautiful backdrop!!!
I really recommend thin chuck steak (about 1/2 inch or less), which is cheaper, super delicious, juicy and surprisingly tender when cooked properly, it's what most of us in the north use
Sir, What book of yours would you recommend for a beginner at the grill? I appreciate you now at my “chef” days haha and enjoyed your brother Skip with Shannon when they began! You guys are amazing, always appreciate your guys content!
@@meatgravylard Did you watch the video, outside....drinking beer, talking, dancing, then go to work the next day and do it all over again that evening.....Americans get McDonalds and sit alone in front of a TV....
@@pavelow235 That doesn't happen, it's a made up feel-good fantasy gringos use to replace the reality they can't admit. Just to be sure I went for a walk last night and no one was dancing or listening to music in a celebratory way. Mostly the people with a TV were sitting in front of them, probably wishing they had Mcdonalds, you know, like the average Mexican.
Do you wash your hands? You put one glove on, used both hands to transfer the raw meat, then the gloved hand to grab the marinade from the blender and then both hands for the rest of your prep and cooking?
You can always ask the butcher to slice the ribeye really thin. With today's meat prices I'm seeing a lot of thin steaks because people can't afford the thick ones.
I tried the cactus pads one time. They were horrible.. Slimy and sour. I know a lot of Mexicans here in Texas that feel the same way. I might go gather some younger ones this spring.
You are always cooking up the best food thanks Rick.
😋🥩🥂🌮😋
Every video a lesson. Every lesson a treasure. Gracias senor.
Mouthwatering recipe💚😋✌️
Looks delicious , also looks like major work , shopping g , chopping , cooking and CLEANUP !

Thin cut ribeyes are so great. I’ve been able to find them at Sam’s Club and Walmart Grocery.

Do you cook the chuck on the grill or slow cook ? Thanks !!
@@Bingboimealprep on the grill, that's why it needs to be thin, over charcoal would be best
@@Bojoschannel thanks makes sense going to give it a try today - appreciate it 👍👍
I might do this for Thanksgiving for my San Diego family out in North Carolina
That’ll be a big hit
Classic taco menu.
Cant wait till your carne asada cook out, so many possibilities.

Mouthwatering!
You need the tower battery operated table fans, especially since you host so much and works great when outside. I love mine
Ideal lifestyle right there, outdoors, surrounded by humanity, the Mexicans live that way almost every day , regardless of income level.
What Mexicans would those be? What lifestyle are the Mexicans living?

there is nothing like carne asada at the park during the weekends
I can get those thin cut rib eyes almost every day at the commissary where im at. They label them brekfest steaks or just thin cut ribeye.
wow and zamzam water
I am a Mexican your close.
Costco has been selling thin cut rib-eye…..in my area.
The marinade is also very good if you swap Worcestershire for soy sauce.
YOU ARE A SAINT AND A SCHOLAR
Do you wash your hands? You put one glove on, used both hands to transfer the raw meat, then the gloved hand to grab the marinade from the blender and then both hands for the rest of your prep and cooking?
Need cilantro, onion, lime and salsa
You can always ask the butcher to slice the ribeye really thin.

What up Rick
Do the thin rib eyes have a specific name you can ask for?
lol. had some margaritas before filming?
how do you reheat it without making it too dry?
Microwave
I tried the cactus pads one time.
They were horrible..
Slimy and sour.
I know a lot of Mexicans here in Texas that feel the same way.

How thin are the thin cut ribeye?
About half inch
Not bad for tex mex
Was this carne asada ?
Primero.
Sexto.
No Cumin?
Never use a gas grill for carne asada.
Skirt steak is hard to get. Get flank and partially freeze it and cut it into a thinner steak.
If I ate everything that you cooked, I would weigh 300lbs. How do you stay so thin?
He purges off camera
Cuz Mexican cuisine isn’t Taco Bell. And Rick is active. The dude does yoga
@@JuanDoe666I will it seems Rick and Skip both put emphasis on maintaining their bodies.
