I don't think I've ever heard anyone use the range of that or any other instrument with such depth, emotion, projection, and ferociousness. Well, except you every time we've ever played together, or whenever I hear you play. But this is a special one. Talk about communication with the rhythm section on a whole other level. Nothing like playing with the same cats night in and night out to make moments like this possible on a regular basis. Love you man.
I have mixed feelings about Elliot Mason's performances. On one hand, it's THE best trombone performer I've ever heard. But on the other hand, It's a deeply humbling experience to know I'll never even come remotely close.
