HOWEVER, WDS is NOT the same as a repeater/extender mode, and it doesn't work with all networks like a repeater mode does, in addition to being much more complicated for average users to set up. Lastly, this router did get OneMesh Update, and now you can make mesh networks with this with other Onemesh devices.

An emulator for the same device, emulator.tp-link.com/c6-eu-v2/ also gives us an idea about the access point (Under Operation Mode). Please refer these links and let us know if these are false. Also, as per my understanding, repeater and access point modes are same, if I am wrong, please let me know.

I can get Archer C50 for 1700rs and that is 300rs cheaper than C60 and 500rs cheaper than C6. I never use LAN ports so I don't care about gigabit port at all. All I need is a very good range high speed router for cheapest price. Thank you!
So assuming I had a bit more of a budget (say 5-7k). What router would you recommend in that case? Use case being 2 gaming desktops in 2 different bedrooms [Both of these are placed linearly one after the other from the living room]; 3 Smart tvs and the usual alexa/ipads etc. Our current bachelor pad, we have direct LAN cables going into our desktops so latency isn't an issue. However, the new place has some weird restrictions so we have to make due using wifi only. Main concern is regarding ping spikes/lag when people are watching netflix while someone is gaming etc. P.S - Budget can be even increased a bit more if there is a router a bit more pricier which performs far better.

Won't get great coverage for big homes with most single routers, you can check out my TP LINK AX73 review, it's slightly pricier than 100 USD but totally worth it, other cheaper tp link options weren't that great.

Same here. From what I know C6 is better than C60, because it has 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN/WAN support. So it can be used for plans faster than 100mbps. No idea about Tenda AC8.

No dd-wrt support is a big let-down. Archer C7 and probably A7 with some hacking may be better options.

Its a common issue with Dual Band routers. Try changing the 5ghz frequency and use original charger. It worked for me

hey guys, recently got a new hathway connection, they promised speeds LAN 140Mpbs and WIFI 70Mpbs, they provided a basic router ZTE ZXHN F660 which i dont think it is sufficient to pull enough bandwidth. can you please suggest any good router below 3000Rs , the current router is placed in first floor, and i get hardly any signal to ground floor

Can't find it at the moment, I think someone has answered it in the comments section of this video.
Basically C series versions use Broadcom hardware while the A series uses WiSoC from Qualcomm. Also, A routers are usually only on Amazon.
