    Hi Kevin, thank you for your review, just a recommendation on your next review to not re-hash your point. would like to have more real life review in terms of usage, dead spot, signal range etc, would really help the normal user understand if its right for them or not. Might also want to recommend alternative base on your findings also.
    Again thank you.

      Thanks for the feedback. I just did an ideal speed test with devices placed 1 foot away from the AX1500 router. This is the best case scenario. Typical use (15-20 feet from router) results in slower speed. It also depends on how many stories that you have, router placement, brick wall, etc.

      @kevin-tv  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I can tell you it gets a bit warm with heavy usage (e.g. uploading GBs of videos to TH-cam). But the speed stays consistent. I think it's quite okay, considering the 1.5 GHz triple-core processor inside. It won't get extremely hot like a laptop.

    the trouble with this 'honest review' is it cannot be an honest review unless the reviewer is knowledgeable enough. You do not discuss the SoC, the ram size, you do not mention that 2x2 mu-mimo is really akin to a 2x2 su-mimo and calling anything a mu-mimo is pointless unless it's atleast 3x3, and you fail to mention the effect of client device on beam-forming and why it often provides no benefit because of the router firmware - heck you do not even test these claims by testing throughput turning mu-mimo on and off. cheap consumer grade product with a cheap consumer grade review.

      Depends on the distance of your devices from the router. This AX1500 is good for up to 2000 sq ft home. Beyond that, the speed drops significantly. You might end up getting only 200-300 Mbps at approximately 30-50 feet or so from the router.

      It has a decent range depending on your setup (where you place the router, how many stories, brick wall, etc). I have to connect my front door camera with 2.4 GHz band for greater range. By the way, the speed drops the further away your device is from the router.
