Do you think it would be worth getting one of these as opposed to an iPod and just regular phone separately? I listen to a lot of music but I as far as data I wouldn't need much. The thing is I can't spend more than $25 a month... :$ I am guessing these would be out of the question.
i have the 9900 and its an awesome phone, ive been using it for 5 months, i didnt buy it we already had it so im using it. This phone is indestructable, dropped it 2 times and nothing happened, my bro used to use it he dropped it literally 50 times and the phone barely has any scratches. we've had this phone for 5 years since the day we took it out of the box. compared to every other phone on the market this is probably the most durable phone you can get. The blackberry is certainly not better than iphone and android but if you just want a phone that can call, text ( the keyboard is amazing), play music with next level speakers ( this phone has very loud speakers), take pictures ( however the picture quality isnt good), or even write notes, this phone is for you. this is the phone for you. Black berries are not meant for games, this phone is just designed for productivity.

I think rim did great on both phones. Iv tried both and im currently using the 9900 and its pretty awesome, its defiantly one of the best phones iv ever had. If your up for an upgrade or time for a new phone, you defiantly should consider the 9900. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

They are completely different phones. I would say a better comparison would be iPhone 5 versus a BB10 device (either Z10 or Q10). I would say go for a BlackBerry for two reasons. 1) Better hardware in general, especially in their newer phones, and 2) I live in Waterloo, Ontario, so support my local business :p

The playbook is a good tool plus it should be able to upgrade to BB10. I'd certainly consider looking at their new line up when it comes out next week.
I strongly prefer the BlackBerry Bold 9790 because for one, it is a mile cheaper and to think that they just have almost the same features! And the 9790 looks a lot more stylish, too :)
