For those critical of this pilot as a student, I'm looking forward to when someone uploads comms on you. Pilot didn't understand and asked in plain language.
English second language can be fun. American pilots lucky English is the official language of international aviation.
Language used does not matter. If you're not proficient enough in the required language, then you should not be in the business of flying or directing aircraft.
Yep I’m a native English speaker but also speak Hungarian..we are lucky Hungarian isn’t the international standard 😵💫😅
😂
When I was a TRACON controller, we had a guy who every time after saying, "Resume own navigation...", would unkey his mic and say, "Or resume someone else's navigation."
Thats a good one 🤣🤣
I've seen two guys try to fly each other's plane at an R/C airshow. Made for some interesting aerobatics.
It sounds like he went past what would naturally be the hold short of W line on O. Maybe it wasn’t marked or clearly marked, compared to P. There was construction in that area, which would also explain the shortened field on 08L. He probably did a little turn and wheeled up on the edge of W, trying to get a better position on the plane coming from P. In other words, he held short but not as short as he should have. The. He tried to strongly suggest he go first since the plane at P was holding. He was just trying to be passive aggressive and cut line. That’s why he alluded to some nonsense about the plane taxiing fast and possibly presenting a safety issue, and about her hold instructions not being clear. Just lining up his ducks in advance to support a contention that he didn’t hold short as instructed. Is there even an international version of a Brasher warning or possible pilot deviation?
He wanted to get moving, and kept understanding everything only as far as it helped him do that. His main complaint at the end was that the plane he was waiting for took a wrong turn, and for some reason, he thought Ground should have specifically warned them that he was there instead of expecting them to just follow instructions. Road Rager in the making.
An inexperienced pilot and garbled foreign Indians controller, perfect.
Why didn’t the CFI teach him proper comms and how to handle advisory traffic? And why would ANYONE ever be a student pilot in Las Effin Angeles? Move, learn to fly, move back. He was going to Santa Ynez. The other cities and airports are Camarillo and Oxnard.
OMG!
First one is our future in the U.S. with DEI lol
lol dei, lol. The newest right wing trigger word. What ever happened to "woke"? Is that no longer a thing?
@@rona4960there is a difference
TH-cam should 30 day temp disable the account of anyone that uses the word DEI more than once a month.
First one was Alitalia trying to do the controllers job instead of just following instructions.
If he had just listened and followed instructions rather than second guess and ask to do other things, it would’ve been fine.
@@rona4960 Your comment doesn’t even make sense. DEI is very real and very much nonsense. How is that a trigger? 😂
Us women clearly can't do some kinds of jobs. The first ATC nearly caused a catastrophe.
Just because you think lowly of yourself doesn't mean other women should.
