2000 Patsy Montana Award Recipient: Jessie The Cowgirl

Named for 1987 Cowgirl Hall of Fame Honoree Patsy Montana, this award recognizes those whose work in the entertainment field continues and advances the tradition of the cowgirl in the areas of film, television, music, writing and theatre. Jessie received the award in 2000. Here is her acceptance speech. Other award recipients are Emmylou Harris and Callie Khouri.

I hate that Jessie had such a reduced role in Toy Story 4. When rumors started circulating about a Toy Story 4 way back in like 2012 I was dying for Jessie and Bo Peep to come in contact with each other more being that they are two of the most prominent female characters in the franchise. But it was still good though.
