    Why not fix it and keep it run it with the other one and cut down the time it takes you to harvest the beans then u can focus right on the hay it'll only cost you an injector pump to get her back in the field

    keep it instead of selling it for what its worth you can make 10 times more than that and production will increase by 50% every year and you can do 2 times the fields you do now with it which means 2 times the money.

    Been a long time since I've seen a 3208 cat they were famous for bending push rods in trucks from people over winding the motor up too much before shifting gears. A friend of mine was a road mechanic for a construction company and they had a lot of those engines in dump trucks and he always kept spare push rods in his service truck just because of that.

    With the price of oil going down and the price at the pumps and corn made into ethanol, pretty soon growing corn for fuel will not pay the farmers.
    I will be glad to see that happen because corn should be for food to feed humans not for fuel. all so it takes so much water to make ethanol and takes so much water to
    do fracking for oil all so takes so much water in Alberta to make oil from the tar sands. We have to come up with something for our fuel that is safe and not using our resources on
    our planet or we will have nothing left for mankind very shortly.

    Hi Wes good to see it running, she fired up pretty good when you got the power to it. I still think even if the pussy power unit wasn't missing. the ford 2704 turbo motors sound sweeter. Maybe search guys tractor pulling with 6 cyl turbo majors here and see what you think, they are heading to 500hp or more with some guys. They are from the same motor family as the 2704. just 380 cubes and bigger turbos fuel pumps,injectors, and a few other performance pulling tweaks in some cases. instead of standard 363 like mine, from the TR 70 but she still barks a good tune with a chrome stack.
    Are you ready to deliver and film the trip for us to the $25.000 guy yet? From his reply to my comment he sounds like he was for real.
    Regards Robert

    Watched a vid other day and a guy was cold starting a TR70 and he was pumping a kind of plunger on top of the cat 3208 engine, yours has one as well. whats it for ???

    • @mi2tn
      @mi2tn 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't know about cats from '93 to present but '93 and older cats have a plunger for the fuel line. When you work the plunger it brings fuel from the tank and runs it all the way through to the fuel pump. It fills all the fuel filters and fills the lines so it will start easier and faster so you don't run the battery down.

    • @1850oliver180AC
      @1850oliver180AC 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That was probably my video.
      The plunger is the manual fuel pump. I was waiting for Wes to use it, but I don't know if he did. Good batteries and fuel in the injector pump was all he needed. Why he asked Tim to throttle it up, I don't know. Mine fires up at an idle before the engine even makes one revolution. I've also never used starting fluid on it.
