Antspur rapier my goat? I started warming up to the deflection tear and had a good time with it. There were some quite obvious times when you just knew he was going to use it so not as doom and gloom as I thought it was. Really enjoyed this LVL 1 playthrough, sad to be done :( Very clean run for me outside of the last 20-30 seconds haha. Him doing the flurry attack from so far away really messed up all the timings I had in my head... the boss himself missed the initial hits which I had not seen until that point lol.

Rapier also had rot on it which helped a ton. I think frostbite just ain't worth it because of the downtime on procs, but that's just me.

every single person i see clearing this blocks his fast swing into cross swing, is it impossible to dodge both? i cant block with my build and i get hit guaranteed every time by the second swing if i dodge the first one

I like it a lot, I think the triple slash is the thing people get hung up on the most and it's fair to. However, it has it's counters, including rolling so i don't mind it at much any more. I REALLY REALLY like the fight. This is probably the most fun I've had "figuring out" a boss. Dodging the clone attacks is super fun and just being in the bosses face with all the beams going out around you is so cool.
