Fishing amble pier and the herd groyne

My next video was in to sessions … we went to beadnell and on having a look about I managed to slip on the rocks 🙈🤕 ( should have had studded boots ) in the end we ended up at amble pier until the wild winds and rain kicked in… so the day after we decided to hit the groyne and had a nice 4 and a half hour session I hope you like the video please like share and subscribe and until the next one tight lines 🎣🎣

At amble there is actually signs that say that the boats have priority and if you see one of them coming you have to reel your line in.

That is no correct we checked the signs and it don’t mention boats at all… I understand that they come in there but when a boat full of fishermen come so close in you could basically shake hands is silly they just laughed that there obviously got under my skin lol 🎣🎣

Went to amble today, Caught a lovely flounder using rag tipped with bluey. Some blokes caught 40+ flounders and some of them were whoppers. I’d recommend you go back.

Some monster flatties to be caught from amble pier in the summer. Rag tipped with mackerel and and a lightish lead so it rolls about and finds the little dips and holes 👌

I Fish it after a good ne wind cause I take me son with me like n he has had some good place in the summer

My fishing journey started on that pier, 39 years ago! Fished ever since, sea, course and Game. 😊 Fond memories. Great video chaps. As I have not been able to get out this week, it's always good to watch. Not sure about Shaun showing his starfish to the kids like 😂😂. Tight lines 👍👍

Nice session pal... just got back to Heysham after fishing Blyth pier for the first time.. managed one Tommy cod for a species hunt im in😁no haddock though 🫣im stuck on 24 and after a coalie before the 1st of January..any ideas 🤔 cheers pal 👍

I’d normally say shields pier or roker for colies maybe try the walkway or groyne mate could be a good shout

Never fished the groyne before seems to fish better just before high tide I think
