Sha Na Na hit it out of the park when they were blessed with Johnny Contardo's voice. I'll be honest, I thought Gene Pitney had a lock on this song - anyone else was a fool to try it. But look what Johnny did. Amazing.

It goes without saying that Johnny Contardo could sing ANYTHING! What I enjoy watching while he is singing, though, ,is Bowser. He had some of the most smooth, fluid movements of any backup performer ever. His body didnt' look like it even had bones in it. There was grace and beauty in his moves.

@@LisaKoffler amazing! Lol she passed about yr ago. I use to say to her..you want to hear Johnny? Let's dance. She would bark wag her tail and jump..while he sang loud on wifi. It was amazing. The new rescue now is learning still. Almost there. Lol
B, I had a dog when I was a kid, and she would just walk around wagging her tail with a dog toy in her mouth! It might seem like a strange way to dance, but my grandmother tried dancing with her while holding up her front legs!

I was about ten years old when I watched Sha-na-na on TV. I loved that voice and I still do! Thank you 😊 This song is one of the first songs I started learning how to sing with. Ever since I heard “Those Magic Changes” I fell in love with it. I love, love, love that song! It reminds me of my childhood. The best time of my life. Nowadays I’m an anointed singer for our Father in heaven. May God richly bless you. ♥️ Thanks for the memories.
Sha Na Na came on TV after my 10th Birthday, and I loved Sha Na Na, too! "Those Magic Changes" is my favorite song from the movie "Grease," and Johnny is STILL singing it!
