There is this part in a piece that I’m playing that is both band and orchestra. So when we are practicing I want to play LOUD so that the violins aren’t completely useless cause the song is supposed to be a band one but we just have the sheet music. Thanks! :]
My d&a string sound raspy that's the only way I can describe it not sure if I should change strings the strings are a month old I thought the more I played it would settle
Try cleaning the rosin of your strings and maybe give your bow hair a clean: violinlounge.com/how-to-clean-your-violin-bow-hair-and-stick-violin-lounge-tv-290/
@@violinlounge thanks for reply it's a new bow nice new rosin, I put a orchestral mute on to practice to be quiet and it works but the tone on g and d sounds better,I take mute of and whatever I do pressure on fingers or bow or speed any variation d&g sounds bad
Okay the amount of hair makes a big difference?🎻 But it's not the amount of hair on your bow.🎻 My hair is down past my butt. 🎻So if it's not the amount of hair on your bow it sounds like it's time to cut my hair🎻. I think it'll be better for my wig🎻 just kidding. 🎻Back to practice🎻🎻 Bye-bye

All factors being the same.
(Ceterus paribus we always said)
Didn't want to mix Dutch, Latin and English otherwise my head would explode.
@@violinlounge I never said you were not a genius. You are. I can barely speak English. And no one speaks Latin but we had to learn it
@@deadmanswife3625 I live in Dutch, work in English and pray in Latin... keeps my chaotic brain organized :D.

The wigs definitely make a difference in sound, haha, certainly when mine got caught up in a finetuner.
