You must have a look at the video from the opening celebrations, where the Prince of Monaco and his family officially open this section. The joy in their kids face is wonderful.
greetings and love from Germany again....thanx for another Wunderland reaction....you´re just the best, serious....and you know, when we germans say serious, we mean it serious, hehe....have a peaceful weekend, mein Freund
An interesting detail: The cathedral and wedding scene of Rainier and Grace Kelly is in black and white, just like the TV coverage of the real weding in the 50s.
Gerrits brother Frederik told us, that they first finish South America (Rainforest, Machu Pitchu in the Andes) then comes a bit of Middle America, The next step on another floor is Africa and maybe Asia. At this moment they are doung the ATACAMA Dessert the RAINFOREST. PLEASE come to Germany, if I am able to travel to Hamburg, it would be a pleasure to meet you at the MiWuLa (Miniatur Wunder Land) Elmar from Germany
I heard there is room for another section in building #1 as they moved some workshops to building #2. Did he mention anything about the section that could be added in the remaining space in building #1? Paris or England would be fantastic!
The skid marks on the track are painted on. They want as minimal wear on the vehicles as possible. You have to see this place in person, D. It's incredible!
Fantastic! I follow you for Home Free, and then I see this! When we were in Germany I took our two kids there. We just planned to spend a few hours, but no! We needed so much more time. Most of what you are showing is new since then. You are right about the funny little details. 😁
Thanks for the video. I am real big fan for Formula 1 racing and never miss on TV. Monaco if one of favorites in the Monaco race is coming at end of May. Also my granddaughter is into miniatures. Thanks again.
A lot of people rightfully argue that german perfectionism and love for detail often comes in the way of efficiency. In this case,it's exactly what you need to pull up something truly incredible.
I think, if they had been too efficient, the whole Monaco project would have been scrapped early on. The Braun twins, one a marketing genius and the other one a coding and electronics buff, are just perfectionist nerds who don’t give up even if it takes years and it seems to pay off. I think you can only afford to manage a company like that when the owners are the inventors and the decisionmakers in one person. The Argentinian Martinez family, who are involved in the creation of the South American scenes, tick in a very similar way. I think that’s also what makes auto makers successful, having top notch engineers like Ferdinand Piëch or Wolfgang Reitzle or Elon Musk making business decisions which are not always sound moneymaking operations but mainly driven by technological enthusiasm
TWO BROTHERS (Twins) got a vision and went to a bank. Told them of their fantastic illusion to build the greatest and biggest 1:87 World ever... AND THE BANK SAY: YES!
You only come up with the idea of Segways and the dog if you can work in a relaxed manner. If your boss puts pressure on you and you're under stress, you can't do that. And when you see the Formula 1 race, you understand why it took 11 years. Just to find the right lane. They searched all over the world for a solution. Most companies said they couldn't do it and the ones that tried failed. That took several months. And with his perfectionism and demands, it took some more time. The houses and the landscape were already finished about 5 years ago. How they were going to do the award ceremony was also unclear for a long time. They had to find a legally clean and timeless solution. A few months ago, the German Formula 1 racing driver (and world champion 2016), Nico Rossberg, visited MiWuLa. He lives in Monaco and was delighted. At that time, the section was still cordoned off and inaccessible to visitors.
The Segway situation was created by an external applicant during an examination for new model artists - the MiWuLa channel got a video with that session
Well then it's clear: now save up for a plane ticket and then off to Germany and Hamburg :D it would be a shame if someone who is so enthusiastic about it didn't visit the miniature wonderland at least once :3 greetings from germany :D
You only need to buy your plane ticket - the Brown brothers organice days with free entrance for people who can't affort to buy a MiWuLa ticket - and with the famous red light district of hamburg near by you don't need a hotel room 😅
The tyres leave no signs of wear. The cars are magnetically driven by the underbody, not by the wheels. The tyre tracks on the Formula 1 track, which is actually a huge circuit board, are just a naturalistic paint job, just like the asphalt look and the road markings
i forgot to mention that there is this fast rising girl group in PH called BINI u might be interested of. pls check on their song "pantropiko". thank u.
@ReactionsbyD There are several new videos on the official TH-cam channel @ www.youtube.com/@MiniaturWunderlandOfficial/, for example, they are now building their own car models, small car models are no longer produced by the manufacturers and this led to the cars that can be seen in Miniatur Wunderland being models who were often older than the majority of the visitors. The self-built cars are superior to the old purchased models in all respects.

Fun fact: the races aren't preprogrammed. Every race is unique as every cars "decisions" are calculated and processed in real time.

Speechless🙊 this is unbelievable💥⚡
Monaco - the second smallest country in the world in the largest model railway in the world. Simply amazing!
Ha, I got the notification from Miniatur Wunderland for this video a few days ago, but I thought I'd wait for you to react. And here we are.
11 years of development have gone into it.
And the royalty family from Monaco himself has opened this section
Good intro, had a nice laugh.
Hamburg/Northern Germany is worth always a visit and quite easy to reach from the U-states.
"Well done guys, don't be disappointed. This is magic." :)

I needed to say myself:
They needed to TRY foe ELEVEN YEARS of Education and Trial & Error AND NEVER GAVE UP and get it at least....
BRAVO!

The camera move along the race track in the video was done by a large robot arm. There is a making of video about it.

That is correct, but only in January
