I wish I had your skill, but I know it's from years of experience. I've attempted to repair the hundreds of stone chips on the front of my girlfriend's car with less than satisfactory results. I'll keep working on it though as you inspire me with your videos. Thanks.
Never noticed this tbh, seems to work fine from most distances. Us smart repair guys only use it as a rough indicator of panel temps when lamping. Thanks for the comment
Mate, love your honesty and admire your confidence in far from ideal conditions. Love your video's, great confidence booster for DIYers like me. Thank you.
I'm lousy at this kind of stuff, but I did do my own wheels on my 330 last year watching one of your videos and they came out pretty well, for me anyway :D I love just watching how to do stuff but too afraid to try my paintwork! If you ever do an alpine white E9x bumper pllleeeeease show it!
I watch other guys on TH-cam making all kinda things. I just love learning new knowledge. If I can pass some of my own knowledge on in the same way, then that's awesome. Thanks for watching
Wondering if you’ve ever tried PDR for any door dings or more sizable dents. If so, would love to see a video of you giving it a go, although I know it’s kind of an art in and of itself
I wish my „mistakes“ would be so miraculous! 😅 Vision Precision Decision I admire your determination and skill! But keep in mind „Perfectionism is a good slave - but a bad master“. Don’t let it ruin your sleep… 😅 Looking forward to your next videos. Cheers from Germany! 🫶
Hello. Thanks for your interest and comments. I do believe subtitles in various languages are available for this video. Maybe check back later to see if Germany has been added by TH-cam 👍🏼
Brilliant, you always make it look so easy.😊
Hopefully me doing things so many times, allows me to become a good teacher.
@cvrpov you definitely are a good teacher, just waiting for some good weather to have a go at the lacquer on my diamond cut alloys 🙂
@@cvrpov Did you learn that from your teacher ;)

Very kind, thanks
@@cvrpov you are most welcome.
The temperature gauge has a laser point and also measures a radius around it. Keep it close to the object for a accurater measurement.

Do you mix laquer into the base for chip repair?
I did mix a little in yes

Did you put lacquer on the bonnett? Or was it mixed in with the paint?
There was a small amount mixed with the paint. Bear in mind, this can make drying times longer 👍🏼
@@cvrpov Thanks!

Mistakes and success can be so close to one another. Greetings 🇩🇪 from 🏴 🤝🏻
@ Thanks! Absolutely. I was born in 1972 - so „Generation FAFO“ - Fool Around - Find Out 😅. I‘m still alive - so I think I did something right…😅😉
Marvelous job mate, just something I need it done to my car. Did you use solvent based paint for the chips, like you always suggest we do? Thanks man.
I’m so frightened of stone chips I paid for PPF, now I’m scared the PPF gets them 😂
Haha. Never quite understood ppf for that reason. Nice for the next owner?

The car next to it gets all the spray on it 🤔
Nah it just looked like it
Can you spray base coat over 800 grit sanding or will that still show through?
Usually basecoat covers 800 just fine
