- Sometimes it seems like nothing gets done but then I sit back and look through the videos on the cottage a realize how much work we have done. Just another day and step in the right direction.

The clearing you have done around the cottage really shows now. No more moss growing on it, or worrying about trees falling on it. I was surprised to see the lake open near January, strange winter for you so far. Hope you all have a great 2024 Tyson.

Good winter to do it. We haven’t had a hint of snow yet. Haven’t even been on a salt run. Hope the family had a good Xmas. Looks like Bauer had a good haul good luck in the new year

Skid steer grapple would probably be handy around the property for moving brush. Or rototilt grapple 😏

Is that lake at the cottage landlocked, or is there an outlet to it somewhere? That might explain the high water table. Unless there is an outlet, then there might be a blockage somewhere that needs attention.
There’s an outlet but looks like beavers have it blocked off more than before
Happy New Year to you and the family, great work towards your cottage vision. Do you have a set of forks for your skid steer? If you a little trick is to join 2 pallets together width wise, ratchet strap the pallets to the forks and you have yourself one large brush moving machine. That's what i have done in the past when moving brush to a burn pile. Load it with the excavator, you can move a lot of material in one day.
I actually have a grapple bucket just need to set it up
