    Lets all put credit where credit is due. The recording quality is on another level. The lighting is on point. BUT the content has ALWAYS been on the 🐐level. Watching your channel grow has been such a blast. Your vibe and mojo you carry on the channel is awesome. Thank you for creating an environment where its ok to KEEP IT REAL, where its not about the dollar, but rather the TRUTH. Glad you had a solid experience with M888, Eddie. FWIW, this coating was bench-marked exclusively against only top tier big brand certified installer professional coatings. Durability is in that realm as a result. The original intent was for this to require certification as well, but as you so aptly pointed out - the application is stupid easy and we felt it would be silly to require training.
    Also worth mentioning - you can go 24+ hours and still wipe a high spot off with this coating. It is VERY unique in that sense. If you have any other questions, feel free to ping me.

    I coated my truck with M888 and love the how it looks. The gloss is banger! I would say it has a warm glow like carnauba wax. Very forgiving during application. The M799 bead booster is a must as it keeps the gloss going. I look forward to the updates of M888 and your impressions further down the road. All the best!

    • @Ecdetails
      @Ecdetails  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment bro m888 was real impressive and thr gloss it gave was top notch how is it going with out the topper for you ?

    • @anthonys.976
      @anthonys.976 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Ecdetails Well the M799 topper went on two weeks after my first wash. For me, M799, is a gloss enhancer after each wash...about every other week. I view the M888 coating as a product helping the paint clean easier/faster so I can then apply more M799. What I enjoy about the M888 is its ability to fill in minor marks and "level" the paint if you will. I think this "leveling" is a major aspect missing in other coatings and has a direct link to appearance. I picked M888 knowing a simple polish was going to be all I needed, not a multi-step, hours long approach.

    I dont play with a ton of glass cleaners personally but its fair to say ive tried a couple. I usually clean them like a window tinter so like with a squeegee and a towel. For a typical glass cleaner that works best with a rag I actually like the diy which caught me off guard when I tried it. Eddie- those scratches don’t look any worse than some I’ve seen Yvan remediate using gold standard and pad with 5-5-5 method. What do you think? What I’d like to see in these correction videos is some data. Paint thickness and maybe even gloss meter before and after. I know you can see some difference with the eye, but what has really been done? And how much more could you do? Not picking this apart, just curious. Thanks for all your good work. Hey bob
      These were finger nail deep it was pass the clear the goal here was to blend it in the light you can see it if up close 5-5-5 wouldn’t of done what sand paper did
      I took the hills abd valleys and knocked it down making it so when the light reflected you didn’t see the white
      For rids and such - I would do the 5-5-5 method. Also I did a paint gauge reading and sent it to the customer I’ll start adding those to the video to give you data
      On the side where I use a foam pad that a heavy compound and blue pad remove the clear coat scuff

      @@Ecdetails yessir!!! I've been on vacation the past month bro. I was thinking of uploading stuff on TH-cam and edit some videos while on vacation but I just don't have the time 😂😂. I'm in Colombia right now with the family since beginning July. That's why I posted that my most recent video but I did the editing here. After that I've been lazy to edit the others 😂😂

    have you only been detailing for a month or so Eddie? How have you missed invisible glass? but now on the serious side great job on the wet sanding don’t like the idea of the applicator. I’m not sure how it would go getting Under doorhandles etc. Another cracking video. Thanks

    Today I use Maguires 110 after doing some wet sanding, applied with a DA and got great results
    Finished it with CarPro Reflect polish.
    Gloss units went from an average of 87 to 88 to 93 to 95 🫶
    Overall, Maguires make some solid compounds

    Lots of detailers are on the CHEM-X trend. Do you think it’s okay on my ceramic coating? I want some for the undersides of my vehicles.
    Wow fantastic job with that rotary Eddie! No swirls? Black paint is the worst, unless it has metallic flake. I used to hate the look of orange peel, now I like it. Means I got lots of clear coat to work with. Wet sanding is not difficult, but very intimidating.
