Tim and Peter filmed three videos on this summer day while performing at the Oregon Getaway. Tim Foust was joined by Austin, Chance, The Hound and The Fox and Peter Hollens at this weekend concert.
@@lrfcowper Seems Tim is a borrower and a lender. The pink shirt Chance is wearing in Don't Laugh At Me is the same shirt Tim was wearing while they were setting up to film it. Clothes swapping among guys is apparently more common than I would have guessed. Layne and Cesar swapped shirts for filming Voiceplay's Good 4 U. 🙃

He did 3 videos with Peter -- one wearing a shirt of Peter's, one wearing a shirt of Chance's, and one wearing a shirt of Abe's (their tour manager and host of the Oregon getaway). The guys of HF don't tend to swap clothes too much (they all have their own recognizable styles), but there's a video from a concert where Tim caught his jeans on a nail backstage, didn't have a spare, and borrowed Adam's spare pair (and complained that Adam must have a bit more "junk in the trunk" as they were loose on him). I also remember reading somewhere that the boots Chance is wearing in Workin' for a Living were... I think it was Tim's, but not 100%. They're all apparently close to the same shoe size. So I guess it comes in handy to be able to swap, at least.
Tim and Peter are the most phenomenal combination I've ever heard my life. These guys just mess together perfectly. I want to more from them. Been talking to both of them. I just love these guy's singing together. I wanna here more.
Can I say something about you first? I have always been deep into music. I sang in choirs all throughout junior and high school and church. Due to illness, I can no longer attend church choir. I learned so much about music throughout those years. I sort of live and breathe music, especially now. Your reactions have taught me even more. I have always tuned my ear for tones others might not notice. Love harmony. You have taught me even more and I get so much more out of a song. I know you react to many others, but to me you and Home Free are music partners. They are one of a kind and I could listen to them all day. Know what? I prefer watching your reaction before I listen to their original. They are great. You're great and just continue being you.
I absolutely love anything Peter produces, and when Tim joins him it is even better! The layering he does always produces such great harmonies. Continually a great listen. And, as always, your analysis provides fantastic insight that helps me to appreciate the song even that much more. Thanks Jen!
Paul Mccartney said that this was one of his fave songs to sing and that it was specifically about women of African British or American descent breaking out of their shells personal and societal and becoming a force to be reckoned with .. really great stuff and as always a very nice succinct analysis and reaction

Great analysis! Another beautiful rendition by one of my favorite duos. Love this song by Paul McCartney. Both Peter & Tim did an awesome job as usual. They have done a lot of collaborations including "Sound Of Silence", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Greensleeves", "Fire & Rain", "Sunshine On My Shoulders", "Teach Your Children", "You Can Close Your Eyes". All are excellent.

That was fairly good whistling by the two fantastic singers/producers. The harmonies were quite good. I wish I could perform with either of them, doing my whistling instead of just entertaining myself. Rob Lundquist is quite a good whistler...a skill not used often enough in Home Free's music. For a great example of excellent whistling, look up "Mexican Whistler" by Roger Whittaker. When I could whistle that I knew I was good.
This is a great rendition of one of my favorite songs. Of course I like the original but the best remake, afraid I woud have to go with Geoff first, this one second, and Alicia last. LOL
