I’ll never forget seeing the commercial for this and slowly turning to my parents “…. I know what I want for Christmas….” Got a used ps2 from GameStop and this game. Still remember my first match too. Stone Cold vs. Steven Richards in a hardcore match.

Just Bring It was basically SmackDown! 2 with improved graphics and a reduced roster. Even so, for me it was an excellent game that I dedicated hours of time playing it in my PS2.

One massive flaw with it was the season mode.

They're still the GOATS when it comes to over the top moves and insanely gimmicked 'gimmicks'.
For this game to be so old the movement really was pretty smooth

That chokeslam animation lasted like 10 years lol

Funny thing I remember about this game, if you were to do the Burning Hammer, or rather Reverse Death Valley from the top rope, Michael Cole would repeatedly say, "Pumphandle Slam!"

I don't even remember seeing Eddie do that submission hold before. When did he do that modified figure four leg lock?
5:56 that’s what i didn’t like about the early SD games. The submission holds didn’t last a second before the opponent tapped out lol no struggle at all and it made the moves feel very light.

Bro, Rikishi would be favored over The Rock, tell me who would the crowd prefer the Rock over back then? Hardy's, Kane, Taker, Stone Cold, RVD, Benoit, Guerrero, Mankind, Edge, Xpac all would've been favored. You would have to stack him against someone no one likes like Kurt Angle. The Rock was Mid back then and I dunno anyone who would've said The Rock was their favorite. The Rock was a step above Mid back then. Every top guy would've been favored over the Rock. It's really only when WWF became WWE that The Rock hit his peak. Unless you're colored then maybe you related to him but I'm white and the Majority of people simply preferred others. He was no one's favorite. I grew up and stopped watching Wrestling around the time Cena became popular.

I played this game on release and this is actually how it was. I remember spamming the Last Ride so Michael Cole would keep repeating: 'the Last Ride...the Last Ride.'. My friend was so annoyed lol
