    Idol, your applying resin and plaster to rubber mold, did you put catalyst or hardener on it? Tnx

    • @EirikArnesenArt
      @EirikArnesenArt  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I did, the mold became hard and worked pretty well! Thank you for asking.

    so,. um,. plaster+glass fiber is very good for mold right??

    • @EirikArnesenArt
      @EirikArnesenArt  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's Hydro-Resin, not plaster. Very similar but much harder and stronger!

    Hi Eirik, it is a very helpful video! i have a question: in order to make the mothermoluld, do you use normal plaster with Aqua resin?..or is it a particular type of plaster?

    • @EirikArnesenArt
      @EirikArnesenArt  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you! Aqua-resin is its own type of material. You can use plaster to make mother molds as well and I have several videos on how to do just that.

    Great video can i ask if you do anything to get the water based clay walls to stick to the rubber mold as i have problem with this.

    • @EirikArnesenArt
      @EirikArnesenArt  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I just lightly push down, and I press the clay on the backside of the wall down extra hard, mushing it into the rubber surface. Then I add extra clay to the back for support. If your clay is to dry it won’t stick. Seems like the moisture in the clay makes it stick to the rubber, perhaps suction causes it to stick.

    great video! Do you apply a mold release between the silicon and the mother mold so it's easy to pull them apart?

    • @EirikArnesenArt
      @EirikArnesenArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! No I don't but you certainly can and it's not a bad idea. Use vaseline or some form of oil soap.

    Which powder is use this process....resin+hardner+catalyst+hardner+? powder

    • @EirikArnesenArt
      @EirikArnesenArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a liquid and a powder. Exactly what each is made of I'm not sure. I believe the liquid is some sort of acrylic while the powder is a synthetic plaster that's extra hard.

      Hello and thank you for watching! I'm trying to come up with a solution for this problem as I've had several people tell me they struggle with English and would like subtitles. So you've been heard and I'm working on it!

    Hey man, loving your content! I've seen in your sculpting videos that you work with armatures built onto a large sculpting table on wheels- where can I get something like that (im in london)? all the best !

    • @EirikArnesenArt
      @EirikArnesenArt  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! The metal sculpting table I think is hand made. I know nothing about welding so I don’t know how! The wooden ones can be built. Maybe I’ll make a video making one! If you’re in London, check out Tiranti, they might sell sculpting stands.
