Hi!! I've been on the verge to try and save up for a versa studio bn 20a for my new business, but I'm finding out that they don't have a Mac compatible program to print with ... but then I watch your videos and notice that YOU ARE USING a Mac!? could you explain to me (us) how you did that?! because as of right now its a total deal breaker if I can't use my MacBook
Do you have a video about how to make a perf cut for adobe illustrator? My Roland cuts out everything perfectly but I want my stickers to be fully cut out in the shape with the back and everything.
@@SilhouetteSchool Thanks for the reply! Is there a way on doing this through silhouette studio and/or adobe illustrator? We followed a video that taught us on how to create contour cuts so we purchased both of those softwares, and we currently don’t have affinity designer.
Help!!! I watched all the videos and did my first print and cut using silhouette studio then AI, and then Versa Works and it printed beautifully had the ‘A’ in the box and everything but didn’t cut at all. It did take the vinyl back in and pretended to cut for quit a while but when I tried to weed there were no cuts…can you help?

I am having issues, following everything, downloading and all. Once I click on the pink/magenta "Cut Contour" box it makes my whole design pink ---> save it as a PDF ---> send it to VersaWorks, I don't see my whole image just part of it. I designed my image in Illustrator, there is no path as my image is not a picture but words and stars. The only thing that showed on VW was the stars. Please help!

I am using a Mac to do everything..then I transfer to a PC b/c the the Versaworks Rip is only PC compatible..for now.

I’ve been doing this but when I put it in versa works, the cut pattern shifts from what I made it in illustrator

How do you make the image fit the whole page? Mine won’t fit it good which makes sizing in VersaWorks complicated
You can size in VW by using the scale option

How do you get versa works to work on an MacBook???
It's not Mac compatible.
Does it matter how thick the strokeline is?
Hey there, use the path line and don't change the stroke weight.
So how I transfer the pdf file from Mac to VW ?
I use Google Drive to transfer it to the Windows computer I use for programs that aren't compatible with Mac.
