    Great video! I love the mods that you made. Thanks for the great ideas! A few bucks worth of upgrades sure make a big difference.

    Great video! I really enjoyed the fact that you took the time to thoroughly explain all the functions and the mods on the heater.
    I've been toying with the idea of getting one of these heaters myself and after watching your video, I think I will. Keep up the good work!

      The video was a little long-winded, but I just kinda wanted to show the whole system that I built I love building things so it was a lot of fun. I like learning from others and sharing my knowledge as well, and I’ll do it together.

    Very well done video, i just purchased the same heater and im glad to see it works well and that it can be made more reliable

      You do things right and don’t abuse them they work great. Some bash them but who cares They are roughly a 1/4 the cost and mine works well for my purpose.

    Nice video. I have seen it on Reddit where they suggested to push and hold the down button, then gave it power and keep holding. It then supposed to start priming with a timer of 300 seconds. You can do that many times depending on how long you made the fuel line. Haven’t tried it yet as I am still waiting on my unit to arrive.

    The control panel is also the thermostat so ideally it would be detached /extended elsewhere in the room.
    The standalone units allow for better pump separation / isolation etc so much less pump noise.
    My van unit is tapped into the vehicle fuel tank via a dip tube, primer bellows and drainable fuel filter.

    It's important that the chosen power supply can handle the high amps when the glowplug is priming, also that the power supply doesn't get disrupted as these units have a phased shut down to help cool the heat exchanger. Otherwise the circuit board overheats and fails.
    Mine are in my campervan and a 2nd one at home as an outdoor-mounted auxiliary heater.
    Cheap to run. 27:57

    Good job. I just got this vevor heater to put in my semi. Where did you buy the extra exhaust pipe and the blue muffler as well as the tape you put on the exhaust pipe. Thanks

      No problem. People knock them but I think they work well. They are not a high end version but they work awesome for my purpose and relatively cheap. So easy to work on.

      Glad you enjoyed it. I had a great time putting this together and playing with it. My small hot tent test I did was very successful. The video is a little long in spots but I wanted to show the whole start up sequence so people know. Patience lol as many might think it’s not starting correctly. It’s around 5 minutes to get going.

    Used mine once winter tent camping. So far I like it. Any ideas on how to waterproof the controler? My heater is outside the tent.

    • @BlueSea_72
      @BlueSea_72  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was thinking of ideas. Maybe tape a plastic see through cover over the top so you can still use the remote. But better off make a small tarp cover with a section to accept the exhaust as the unit I general is not waterproof. Depending on how much room I like a teepee style cover that goes over top. Let’s water run off

    Hi Gary from the UK here grate video very interesting and informative keep them coming and thank you , I was wondering if you can help me first of all what model of bluetty power bank are you using and can I plug the bluetty to the mains electricity to charge the bluetty and still use the bluetty to run my diesel heater at the same time for heating my work shop for long periods of time.
    Thank you so much for your help,
    Yours sincerely Gary Nicholls

      Thanks Gary I appreciate the kind words. Mine is the BLUETTI AC70. Yes it will still run the diesel heater and will still remain charged while plugged into the wall. Hope that helps.

    The supplied ( cheap and nasty) green tubes are too soft and expand from the pump pulses on the output side of the pump.
    That's why the nylon upgrade pipes need to touch inside the rubber couplings.
    Hot water helps soften the rubber.

    what happened with the diesel filter, we hardly see any liquid passing through

    • @BlueSea_72
      @BlueSea_72  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I kind of thought the same thing. It is hard to tell but there is some in there. Not sure if the harder reduced diameter fuel line makes any difference but I doubt it. I ran it 10 hrs straight without a hitch.

  • @johnchaulker3241
    @johnchaulker3241 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The fuel filter should be before the pump and you have the filter on backwards

      No I do not. I researched it and did it correctly

    How to prewent to leak diesel from tank lock?

    • @BlueSea_72
      @BlueSea_72  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Do you mean the vent hole at the top. As long as it’s sitting flat I have never had any leak out. As a precaution in transport you can put a piece of duct tape over it

    Can you explain why use the cigarette adapter extension

    • @BlueSea_72
      @BlueSea_72  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well it can be used in 2 locations. In your vehicle or anything that has a cigarette lighter that produces enough power to run it and it also plugs into my BLUETTI power bank

      @@BlueSea_72 thank you for the quick reply. I recently bought a EB55 and I have read where it worked for some but not others. And it was because of the spike in Amps to get the glow plugs going. After that it's no issue for the power bank to run the heater. I have read multiple times where people had changed the adapter to something similar to yours. I was curious if you did that for a similar reason.

    • @BlueSea_72
      @BlueSea_72  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Dorkus_ well theyare of high quality and I had a bunch lying around so I utilized it worked. Maybe luck or the quality lol

    • @Dorkus_
      @Dorkus_ 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BlueSea_72 I don't doubt it. I guess I'm confused because I don't have the heater yet. So I don't know why the plugs they come with would not work. I just remember reading a couple messages on yt where people said the blueetti shutdown because of the amp spike over 10a. Then again I've read and seen video of the opposite! Such as here where it works for you. Lastly I was just curious about the adapters and how much they are actually needed to start the vevor off the blueetti. It makes sense I just wanted to ask someone before I bought it.

    • @BlueSea_72
      @BlueSea_72  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Dorkus_ Mine works perfect with my BLUETTI but I have heard Jackery’s do not always work. My particular heater came with bare wires so I had to come up with a solution
