The second one is especially bad considering the ref did not even reach for his flag until the interception the refs were just brutally bad this game worse than PAC-12 refs
As an Auburn fan. The calls by refs don’t matter. If you’re a better team and scoring relentlessly. Bad calls will never be a complaint. ..but that was a touchback. In college, it's about the position of the player - in the NFL is about the location of the ball. The player who touched the ball had already stepped into the endzone... touchback.
Not blaming it on SEC refs, just bad officiating, ACC or not. Things always go both ways just usually not equally. Allowing a TD on a play where the player clearly wasn't forced out of bounds and taking a clear INT with minimal contact off the board are gamechanging calls, not simple penalties. And the no targeting call on Uluave is because the player went really low and led with his helmet himself. What's a defender supposed to do? Let him blow out his knees? Because that's where he was heading.
That’s exactly what happened and it wasn’t because of the QB! Dude was running for his life. It’s hard to complete passes when you don’t have time to set your feet and see the field
As and Auburn fan I cannot thank South Fla for making yall get 13 penalties and struggle in order to beat them. Thank you Milroe for the fumbles you made.😂😂😂😂😂
@@pbrewster11 yes but Bama won by 4 td’s. Freeze is an awful coach so he fits right in at au. His pregame speech was beyond awful. It was weaker then dish water and then he follows it up with running that out dated offense with terrible qb’s. Those receivers are gonna leave lol.
There were bad calls both ways…how about the targeting that was called off? It was textbook targeting. There was also a hands to the face call on auburn that didn’t happen. Goes both ways.
There was barely any contact. And if he was forced out, the defender wouldn't have let him back in to catch the ball. Contact like that is rarely ever called. The bar is a lot higher than that to be considered forced out.

They're not playing flag football. If the kind of contact they had on the Auburn TD and the PI on the INT were the standard, there would be nonstop penalties all game long, every game. Even the announcers, who had pumped up Auburn all game said the PI call was clearly wrong.

If you could see the other angle where he grabs the jersey you might change your mind if it was your team. Only a one angle view.
"Another huge call goes against Cal".
Home cooking by the mighty SEC and you still lost. quit whining.
Weren't these ACC refs? Also, who is whining?

Y’all forgetting this was an ACC crew? Also the targeting on Jarquez was waived off even though it was perfectly crown of the helmet without question

This video could’ve been 4 short clips. Each one of pt interceptions that affected the game
the seconds one was a makeup call for the missed calls against cal
How would these change outcome? Auburn lost which is outcome either way
Cal could’ve easily won the 2023 game. Cal is better than Auburn right now!

So much home cooking, and the Barn still couldn't win. Hilarious!!
I don't know what your looking at but the receiver was forced out of bounds, second the defensive back was holding onto the receiver's jersey
The WR stopped on the 2nd. Im an Auburn fan and i was in disbelief at how horrible that call was.
