Love watching this video. My first racquet I strung took me 2 hours.....😃. A few months later, I'm consistent at 50 minutes which I'm happy with. Hope to one day get down to 30 minutes.
@Alan Kakinami Thanks for the reply. Changed jobs a while back, so don't get as much to do now, but managed a relaxed 35 minutes. Would rather I did it right than do it twice.... Lol I do miss stringing... 😢
Alan you are a legend! I've learned a few things from watching you string. The only thing I've noticed is that while you thread through a hole, you could be tensioning the other side thus increasing the speed even more. The only reason I notice these things is because my machine isn't as fast haha
What is the reason to pull it twice when starting the cross. By that I mean pull, release, pull. Been watching your video non stop to pick up excellent tips
So the string wont rubbing the main string in the same spot which weaken the string. Notice, each time he pull his other hand move the cross string away from its position the then second pull.
A great question, Borindo. Of course you will get the answer "YES, the same tension". Stringing tension's formula has changed. There is a top secret behind of course and don't want to be revealed. Only top of the top stringer know and it's fully secret. The player can say 14 kg, and the top of the top stringer will use the secret formula. Believe me.

hello Mr Alan. did you tie the main knot at D9 after the main and the cross string crosses together?
Hi AK, if i want 26lbs tension then do i need to set 26lbs for both mains and crosses? or different numbers? if different numbers then what are they?
@Alan Kakinami thank you AK. So either way works on 6 point
good job!!

Why are the clamps moving after releasing tension??
It's normal. On some machine it does a lot more than you see.
I guess its got something to do with stress transfer from the string to the clamps. But idk but thats what my safe bet would be
What a masin price
And I do it in 1h09...😂
he's doing a 4knot
