@@Broadenurhorizon you need to focus on your current job....it's very good profile and salary is also good in canara bank ...but if you do frm or cfa then you have to forego your banking experience..you have to start afresh in either risk domain or investment banking...you will again start as fresher...put in 2 to 3 years then you can expect some good status or salary package...so in total 2 years to complete frm/ cfa +2to 3 lakhs need to spend on course...

Yes, your prior experience is counted and you can apply for the charter just after clearing FRM-2.
Credit profile is also counted for the FRM.
