I have yet to see a blind person actually using a seeing eye dog. I have only encountered a handful of sighted people socializing dogs in public. I get the feeling that most blind people are still quite concerned going alone out in public without trusted friends. I recall seeing a blind person alone, hesitating to cross the street and watched multiple people attempt to help while the blind person waved them off, some justifiably because they appeared homeless and attempting to assess the person's aptitude. Some genuinely attempting to help but because the person would not say where he wanted to go, no one knew what else to say. So easy to take advantage. He eventually crossed the street and got onto the bus when he was sure everyone around him was gone.
That position is the best, its mimic standing position, easy to focus, while sitting in gaming chair makes you want to move a lot and can't concentrate the hand
I think it makes a lot more sense if you think of mechanical watches like art though, not engineered en masse by robots and iterated for features, but crafted for their aesthetics and mechanical accuracy
Oh wow, Kanzuri - Paolo From Tokyo has a long video because he worked with them (still working) for a special hot sauce. If you interested in the process from different views.
The only thing here useful is the seeing dog, which is expensive for good purpose, and for its value it NOT expensive. Others are all luxury items not human kind can live without.
I just only wonder with today’s economy who would want to spend so much money on a watch when a simple watch would do the same thing it was designed to do to plus we now have phones that can tell you the time.
Very interesting but could you please turn down the music??? It's meant to be background music and doesn't have to be constant for the whole 2+ hours. Became really irritating, especially when trying to hear the translations. Whoever mixed this is no artisan.
Funny thing is they talk about how expensive these watches are because they have a tourbillon, Trump's crappy 100K watch that's made from Chinese parts has a tourbillon, experts reckon you can now pick up the tourbillon part for around $US 30 in China
In the west, we prefer to work at tables and wear shoes. In other places they don't. It doesn't mean our way is superior or their way is superior, just different. It obviously works to sit on the floor, especially if you've been doing it your whole life. As far as shoes go, in many countries, shoes are only for outside , they don't wear them indoors. Some climates don't require shoes. Our way is not better.
@@lesliewells-ig5dl thanks, but it was never a question of superior, just that of safety. its bad for you back and for exposed feet on a job sit is a good way to get hurt
@@robertmorgan2723 I wonder if it is bad for the back if the person has sat that way their whole lives. It would be bad for my back, I don't even know if I would be able to get up off the floor. As far as shoes, I do agree. It's so easy to step on something and get hurt. But lots of people do it their entire lives.
Huh? Still doesn't make sense why the expense. Incredible how the grass root workers work the hardest but get peanuts for their toil😢😢. 1:18:32 I really did not ask to see these type of people in your videos. Such normalization will result in the dissatisfaction of your viewers, prompting many to dislike and many to leave, in fact this has earned one from me. Consider yourself warned, warned to the fact that other countries that watch your videos don't subscribe to Western ideals, we have our own and we will make our opinions heard.
The fact that the specialist who has been in the industry for 28 years and sells timepieces that are more expensive than most people's houses can't pronounce "tourbillon" correctly is embarrassing. As a fluent french speaker her pronunciation made me wince and she'll either seem less credible to knowledgeable customers or pass her mispronunciation on to those who are less knowledgeable
can we talk about the watchmaker woman using condoms as simple finger protection, im not saying its not effective at protection, im just saying you got the body part and the gender wrong.
Trying to justify the cost of a watch with the number of parts is as logical as saying a piece of paper is worth more than another for no other reason that the number printed on it.
I'm, just so impressed by a demonstration of the arrogance and yes, insanity of the people who consume the often nonsensical overpriced garbage featured on these programs. Human folly knows no bounds. While I could afford these senseless "luxuries" I have my own common sense to do nothing but laugh at these fools. (Seeing eye dogs excepted!)
i’m just so impressed by how well the narrator pronounces so many words so well in so many languages 😍

Well, he could either be a watch maker or a brain or heart surgeon with those oh so steady hands.

the guide dog bit was so cute 🤣
Such a great learning experience in so many artisan communities across the globe. The narrator of the cement tiles is my favorite.
Every guy likes a girl that trys to hard, or can eat an apple through a picket fence. NOT!
Love watching everyone in this show. You can tell the passion in their voices. You can see it in their work. Was inspiring to see this. Amazing video
Very Special Watch!!!!!!! Fantastic!!!!!!!
This was very well directed and produced🎉.
1:06:22 how exactly does that saw work? I see the top middle branch has tension but why?
I love Japanese culture!! It's just the best!

The chips in an Apple Watch are infinitely more complex than anything inside of an analog watch, yet they’re not that expensive.
