But in other videos they do nt add any water and they add ghee and started stirring,when itstarted came out from the sides they added sugar and made it . Which way is correct?

You can make.Same measurement.But Soak Varagu rice separately for 6 hrs.Dhal separately for 1 hr.While grinding any millet, do not add more water.Grind varagu for less time and then add urad. Grind coarsely.Rest is as in that video.

In tumbler 20 minutes is enough.Size of the tumbler matters. Try once. You will be to find the correct time. You get a good smell also when it is done
